I though he was trying to get a place on the national team, that's why he wanted out of Shakthar (and I'm sure to get paid)... He'll get paid, but fade into even more obscurity in China..

While I would have loved him in January, I'm glad we didn't pay that much... The summer will open many more options..

Supposedly China tried to get Oscar for £57 million too.

This guy is perfect for our club with Klopp in charge. Hopefully he can force a move in the summer. He wanted a Liverpool move in the worst way but we look to be acting smarter these days. At some point though gents we'll need to overhaul a lot of current spots for Klopp.

Where would we play him? If it's striker, there are better options. Winger, better options. False 9, we've got one of those. Attacking mid, we've got one of those.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him, just think there are better options out there. We need a bona fide striker (amongst other things), should have thrown the bank at Lacazette last summer, though we could have gotten him for what we paid for Benteke

I think he'd have been an upgrade on Lallana. If you look at Klopp's years at Dortmund (4231)... The three Brazilians behind a striker looks great! Or Firmino as the 9 and Lallana in the 3. Just thoughts...

I agree that a Striker seemed more logical (though that too would have caused a back log when all healthy)

I think it shows how Klopp rates our current AMs.

Anyway, with Markovic returning next year (hopefully) and more options available in the summer... I'm okay moving on... Jan is a tough window.

But, I do hope Chinese clubs spend some time summer shopping on Merseyside ??

I get shat your saying about where would we play him and over who? I just have this sneaking suspicion that this summer is going to be very active in terms of bringing in players but just as much players being on the move out of the club.

Klopp to miss game today. Suspected case of appendicitis. Also planned fan walk out at the 77 minute mark protesting ticket price hike

That sucks. Go on and take that sucker out.

I had a bad case of that a week before my senior year of high school. By time they got it out, it had already perforated and possibly ruptured. Worst pain I've ever been in.

Geez I'm not sure it's possible to match our injury record. Even our manager is missing games.

We have to take three today. I expect to see a determined effort. Problem is we will probably also waste a bunch of chances

FIRMINO!!!!

Nice header off of a beautiful cross by Milner. Looked VERY similar to the Finlay-assisted Altidore goal last night for the USMNT.

Milner would do better at LB for us than Moreno. Height would not be an issue as much as it is where he plays now plus he sends nice balls into the box as opposed to Moreno.

Firmino making things happen again! Pressed the defender who was obviously booting it long, blocked it and took it down the left side of the box and payed off to a middle run from Lallana who scored.

Firmino is putting on a skills clinic today.

That's two that he should have saved. He had to know Dafoe was shooting there. Aside from that... How in the hell do you get caught flat footed like that?

The whole thing went belly up, starting with the walk out... not that I actually balme that, but it took the wind out of the sails...

The one thing Migs was good at, is even letting him down now... Sakho should have done better defending on the second though..
