So yeah, they're looking pretty good. Have only been able to watch since the 60th minute but apparently every shot on target has been a goal. Efficiency at its finest

And to think we started down a goal. What a turnaround. Let's play all games away from Anfield.

Always play with 2 strikers, and always play with black kits away.

So pumped. Origi with the hat trick, Sturridge has 2, and Ibe scores another. Unreal to think this exact same talent had trouble mustering a single goal in a match to start the year. Managers can make a world of difference.

ETA: Ive been commenting on the match day thread pretty much by myself haha frick it man! So pumped to see a Pool squad with this kind of relentless offensive fire power.

Like it! What a performance today, unbelievable how big of a turnaround it's been under Klopp. I hope he stays around for a while

To think how we are playing now, imagine our team once he gets a few of his preferred signings in! You have to think with they way we are playing, they will back him. shite they gave BR almost £300m didn't they?

I really dont see him being a big money chump.

We're already paying him a crap load and he seem to want glory at a classic club. It's why I don't think he ever had any real interest in managing Bayern.

Yeah, he'll get what he wants... My mind keeps wandering to the ultimate prize... I mean I don't think we have a shot this year, but certainly I think we have a great shot at finishing on top with him here

I only say that because there is no mega club this year.

I'm not saying i expect to win the league, but a tweet from earlier this week said we are closer to the top right now than we were at the same point back in 13/14.

And with the usual top 7 out of the way for the rest of the first half of the schedule, we have a good chance of picking up 3 points often, as long we can stay focused.

Getting some guys healthy, playing hard...you never know what position we'll find ourselves in as January starts.

Top 4 should be our aim and is clearly there for the taking.

Lots of confident finishing today.

Klopp on origi -
quote:

He said: “We had a talk. We sat together, and it is not too often that you agree on everything with a player!

“I told him 'you have to do this, this and this, not do the difficult things too often and so on' – and he said 'yes, yes and yes, I know, I know'.

“When he plays, and he only plays for a few minutes, he wants to show everything. That's normal. Everyone wanted him before Liverpool bought him after the World Cup in 2014, but he has to learn. He has to be patient and to work.

“Today, he made only easy passes, used his speed, defended and took his chances. His game was really good.

Klopp's meeting with Origi inspires hat trick

That was a fun match to watch, even knowing the score prior to watching..

I was happy for Origi... The run and finish for the second goal was outstanding...

The Can assist

And IMO, that's why you don't sell Studge... he may spend a lot of time out, but he's fricking lethal when he plays...
