I am absolutely doubting him. Why do we give him a free pass when he's showing the stame stubbornness that previous managers showed that eventually saw them the door? See my post above. He needs to come up with a plan B. Otherwise get used to watching high press negated by sit deep = consistent stream of losses & draws.

frick this bullshite. I can't even watch anymore. Between Sumlin and klopp I'm surprised I haven't gone postal yet. This is beyond frustrating.

Between Auburn, Liverpool, the Braves, and the Panthers this year, I am totally in the "frick it all" category right now.

At least the Hawks are kinda sorta doing alright, but I never have any hopes for them anyway.

I'm pretty much at a loss for words.

Put Karius in for the rest of the season. Migs will never be good enough. I don't think Karius will either, but there is a little bit of uncertainy.

Firmino is NOT a striker against teams that sit back. Chelsea? Sure, put him up front if you want. Arsenal? Same. Hull, Sunderland, etc? No. Sure, he *might* have a good game every once in awhile, but he doesn't offer enough up front if teams sit deep and don't pass it around the back too much.

It looked to me like we played more of a 4-2-3-1 today - CAn and Hendo looked to be sitting level a lot more than earlier this season.

Top 4 is certainly achievable, but we're pissing away points left and right against the worst teams in the league, and this WILL come back to bite us this year. I would not longer bet on us being top 4.

The effeminate Arthur Blank and his then love affair with Mike Vick drove me away.

The very mention of Arty Blank makes me want to puke.

Saw this on the LFC subreddit, and thought it was a great read that any fan should take a look at. It's a post about Dortmund fans discussing our troubles and their thoughts about it re: Klopp

That was a good read from people who know. The only issue I have is that he needs to cut the fat this summer and replace them with players who can play his system. This cannot wait another window or another year, he blew this window off and it has cost us dearly.

He needs better players to break down teams centrally. And yes, that falls on his shoulders. But if Arsenal can do it week in and week out then so can we with the right personnel. Frankly, I wish he'd play the ball in from the wings as we have the personnel for that, but it is what it is. His stubbornness to play through the middle is an ok decision, but not with this squad. I don't doubt that he'll get us out of this, but his decision making has been very confusing.

Starting to see that we are in talks to sign Joe Hart to goal. Summer window deal, but terms are supposedly being discussed.

That's a start. This summer will be huge. Our bench scares absolutely no one, and we must add at least 2 more defensive starters, as well as adding a goal scorer and more speed on the wings. All adds to be STARTING quality.

Its hard to argue that Karius, Studge, and Origi weren't starting quality during this past summer. The former was one of the brightest and productive players in the Bundesliga and the latter two ended last season on terrific form for us. In fact, the only signing/squad player from last summer that wasn't starting quality was Grujic, but that was pretty publicly a singing for the future.

Now the fact that we didn't sign anyone in January is wholly different story....
Absolutely no excuse for not recognizing that our perceived squad strength was all smoke and mirrors come 2 weeks ago.

Can, Milner (I hate to say that), Lovren and both GK's are straight up bench players. Valuable yes, starting XI no. As good as Hendo has been his form is off also and some of the questions we had before the season are rearing their head. If we went out and could grab a true boss holding mid that might work too. No one in the back half of the Starting XI should be safe.

Lucas and Milner on one side is a huge speed/quickness liability. I think that will prove to be a problem.
