Will have to watch this one when I get home later. I assume Yedlin and Nguyen were sent home for the playoffs?

MON's supposedly starting two debutants today (Christie and McGoldrick).

good pregame preview from socceroverthere

Jordan Morris might make his debut and the mayor of Hannover was invited by Klinsy to come observe training.

#USMNT Lineup: Hamid; F. Johnson, Cameron, Besler, Chandler; Beckerman; Bedoya, Diskerud, Morales; Wondolowski, Altidore (c)

Wondo starting.

Supposedly we are going diamond midfield with Bedoya and Morales on the wings.

ETA: Oh shite, just saw that Hamid is getting the start... Interesting.

At least Mix is at the top of the diamond. Hopefully he plays better than he did against Colombia.

He's not really going to be out wide

He kind of has to be, though, because Chandler likes to push up on the attack a lot.

Somebody's going to have to be. The other options are Beckerman, Mix and Wondo.

#USMNT Roster update: Tim Ream has been brought in to replace John Brooks, who is kept out as a precaution with a minor ankle issue.

I'm happy for him. I think he has a shot an getting on a European club in a few years if he continues to do well.

And he would need to if Morales is tucked inside. I wouldn't really consider a guy who might have to occasionally cover for a fullback to be a wide player.

Fullback. We did this successfully with Jermaine Jones like 6 months ago.
