All I know is Conte has Victor Moses playing like a world class wingback. He was given David Luiz because Chelsea messed around all window and landed only one player he seemed interested in (Kante). Now Luiz looks like Franz Beckenbauer after the system change. And Gary Cahill is honestly not very good. In other words, Chelsea has been one of the toughest teams to break down in Europe and they're doing it with a back three where one of the guys isn't even good and another has been laughed at throughout his career for making stupid decisions and having critical lapses like clockwork.

So while I sympathize that Pep inherited a squad with some guys who should've never been bought, I still think he should be doing more with what he's got. Great managers adapt to get the best out of what they have, and I've been disappointed with Pep's inability to figure it out.

Burnley has me all nervous now that they are actually using their man advantage. Only took them 50 minutes to figure it out.

Is tomorrow going to be the first time in this board's history where almost everybody is rooting for Tottenham?

Txiki is overrated. Noticed this when the season started that City was super weak at the fullback spot and below average at defensive mid. Thought Pep would be able to hide some of those weaknesses but this is his weakest team he's coached, perhaps in his entire career.

Please spar us the Pep excuses.

Dude spent more than anyone else in the summer. This league is a different animal. Tixiki was his guy brought in to have City ready in case Pep came.

He needs to buy at least 2 fullbacks, a couple of midfielders, and at least another center back before they have a capable squad.

After almost 170 million spent

A good manager can coach around holes in the squad.
