The Monaco draw will be interesting.

They are a scoring machine and while they are likely one of the 'easier' teams we could have been paired with, it doesn't mean much. The defense will get ripped to shreds if we had to play them this week.

I personally think they're a better side than the PSG team we faced in the quarterfinals last season.

Should be a fun tie nonetheless.

BILD saying Ilkay ruptured his ACL. Assuming that just means a tear.

Fun fact from the sub today:

The MCFC U18's are unbeaten in the calendar year of 2016.

Played: 26 matches

Won: 20 matches

Draw: 6 matches

Losses: 0 matches

Goals for: 78

Goals allowed: 23

The U18's are currently 1st in the table with 37 points, United is second w/ 33. The City U18's have a GD in the 16-17 season of +35 (50 for, 15 allowed).

Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho are the two really bright players, especially the latter.

Pep´s face when asked about Isco was telling. I don´t believe they´ll pay what RM wants, however.

Some perspective for the first half of the season.

Been frustrating but you can see some improvements.

Kun's goal today was just nasty.

Gabriel Jesus is in Manchester and is apparently undergoing a fitness test tomorrow. Depending on the results, he could be in the squad Friday. Don't see that happening personally, but I'm ready to see the kid play.

The youth ranks continue to dominate.

The U23's absolutely dominated United's side yesterday 3-1.

United had a red card 13 minutes in and even drew level, 1-1, for a moment, but we dominated the match for the most part and could have had 5-6. Hit the post twice.

Goals were scored by Brahim, Buckley-Ricketts and Paolo Fernandes.

Brahim and Sancho are both incredible players at 17 and 16 years of age. Their instinct to make dangerous runs around the box area is impressive for their age imo.

Brahim is the next David Silva if he continues to develop. He's incredible.

I can see some similarities, but Brahim actually looks to shoot and score goals. I think he's more in the Messi mold than a Silva.

LINK I mean look at this goal against Chelsea's U18s last year.

LINK Here's another highlight reel of him over the last few years for anyone that has 5 minutes to kill.

Going back to Jadon Sancho I just can't stress enough how impressive he is. He just turned 16 and is already playing U23. Plus he's English homegrown.
