adopt a championship club, then you will be inspired to acquire beIN

fact: manuel pellegrini has never lost a premier league title.
Neither has LvG
LvG also won more la liga titles and the Copa del Rey more times.
Has a better winning % than him, has won more trophies, and has won more world managers of the year
you can admit to him being a good manager without getting crucified by Man City.

i'm not even being remotely serious with you.
obviously he has a track record of success. i'm sure it will be no different with manU.
on paper pellegrini isn't even in the same realm as LvG.

Sorry i get defensive
Should be a great season ahead and if we can get some quality signings we might be in the thick of things.

I see Van Gaal more like Mourinho, a win at all costs manager who can motivate players and tinker with his line up to grind out victories.
Pellegrini to me is like Wenger in that his philosophy is to attack and thus his tactical variation is minimal, seeing he tries to give his players lots of creative freedom. Add to that Wenger and Pellegrini both have degrees in fields unrelated to sports, which might help explain their limited tactical scope.

deflecting attention off chelsea I see
hes got United in the top 4 while playing some random arse soccer.
3 losses in the last 23 games. His tactics have fixed the defensive issues. With only 26 goals against only Chelsea and Southampton have given up less. We have to play dull football sometimes bc the backline needs to be protected. We saw what happened when we go all out attacking like he really wants to. 5-3 loss to Leicester and the loss to Arsenal in the FA cup when we decided to open it up, exposing the flaws in the back.

I think he's hardly been the tactical genius, to be feared by the EPL, that we were promised... Sure he has a good track record of success, prior to this year, but this season has been less than impressive.. I honestly expected way more given the talent he brought in. And most Man U fans I know personally, think the same and have expressed to me, top 4 or,out (right or wrong)
He may eventually still get top 4, but i think that's down to the others vying for that spot not being that great either (and yes, I count LFC as one of those teams.. We don't deserve to be anywhere near top 4 given the first half of the season).

The goal was top 4 and we are on track for it
yes the team has been stuck in neutral you could say but we still get the results.
Its a rebuilding project anyone thinking he would run away with the league is delusional.
Next year will be telling, he still has a lot of dead weight to get rid of. And clearly he botched the Falcao loan and the selling of Welbeck which most fans were against.
The issue was defense and thats been addressed b/c of his tactics.
There has been some positives, like getting Young to finally play up to his potential.
The Blind and Rojo buys have been good, which is awesome bc they were the cheapest players we bought. Herrera has been good when hes played.

You're making excuses for a guy who, in reality, spent A LOT more than Moyes and is playing an uglier style than last year's team. It also doesn't look like there's a plan he's working toward like Brendan was with Liverpool all year.
United has been hitting long balls to Fellaini and just hopes something works out. That is not some tactical revelation.

I see you've been reading /r/soccer. Go ahead and pull that page back up and there should be plenty of informative graphics showing how we pass most of the teams we play against off the park.
We HAVE resorted to Fellaini ball when behind at the end of games though. But surely you aren't factoring those situations into this.
