Also, despite the incredible scoreline, this was one of my favorite moments in the match.

There's a vine of gerrard planting wilshere and then walking away like a fricking boss. I watched it for like 2 minutes straight. I was mesmerized.

Probably my favorite thing from yesterday

First time Arsenal have left Anfield with nothing in 7 years. This team is capable of beating anyone on its day.

Just watched the match for the third time, paying close attention to movement off-the-ball. That shite could be put on pornhub.

Goddamn Jordan Henderson is a player. Thoroughly bossed Arsenal's midfield in every way. He was everywhere (as he always is). And his ability to protect the passing lanes is brilliant.

Gerrard - what a performance despite the pen. He looks like he's played that position for years. He protected the back 4 superbly, even naturally slotting between the CBs. How many players in the world can make a tackle in the box, pick their head up, and ping an inch-perfect pass to the flanks in the opposing half?

Never thought I'd say this, but Rodgers will have a hard time choosing the fullbacks once Glen and Enrique gain their fitness. Flanagan was incredible. Stepping up on a pass when he had to, picking player's pockets, and hitting fantastic forward passes. Cissokho has come a long way as well. He's a rock in defense, but still isn't worth a shite going forward. Beggars can't be choosers though.

Ozil was fricking terrible, and Giroud is more middle of da mall than an RC helicopter kiosk. Ox and then Rosicky were the only players worth a frick for them in my opinion, and although Wilshere is a whiny count, at least he's passionate and continued to give 110% even at 5-0.

I'll take a LB that can play defense only over the grease fire of the past several years we have had at that position.

Ha, Ive watched it a few times too already myself... Even the Mostar first 20 minutes with Michael owen commentating...

I think Aly may see out the rest of the season at LB, Jose is still a ways out and it will take him quite some time to get match fit... His confidence is coming along slowly, I'd have like to seen that last shot go in for him..

Hendo is the man! He took Ozils will away in that match...

I just love how BR has everyone on this team buying into what he wants to do... we'll have some set backs, but the effort is there..

Coutinho really has picked up the defensive side of his game and that his opened things up for him on the counter... that pass to hendo was amazing!

The one thing I'll give BR as opposed to AVB, both are great young coaching minds... but where AVB is stubborn to the fault of costing him two jobs... BR is willing to adapt to the players at his disposal and their strengths...

I'm going with the pass to Sturidge, but they were both great.

Def, but since hendo missed the chance, I feel that one may get lost... last season there was an almost identical pass that hendo scored on...

Imagine Coutinho in a few years, in his prime, with a little more to his build and goals to his game...

Question for you guys...

If Daniel Sturridge finishes this season on his current form... How much is he worth on the open Market?

Going by the ol' "English player mark up" it should be north of £35mm... but I feel, people would laugh at that... is it because of the injuries, perceived arrogance or this is his third club???

Anyway, I have no desire to sell but I get the feeling he is under rated and at 24, just entering his prime, he can be as good as he wants..

I have to agree about Cissoko and eat a bit of crow. If he were a FIFA video game player, his agressiveness would be +1 after each match. I don't know whether its confidence or comfort with being in the EPL over time, but he's been improving each game - especially defensively. He's bringing his physical skills into playing defense.

He's also much better offensively (though thats based upon just how inept he was at the start), though he still has zero actual production to show for it. I feel like if he touches the ball in a possession, there is zero chance we score...

Thinking about the Fulham game and I'm glad they tied ManU this past weekend. I was worried about a bit of a hangover for us (ala WBA after the Everton win), but their result against ManU will hopefully put us on notice that they are going to come out to play us hard.

Would have been +2 after threatening to beat down Wilshere.

I know it's rare in this day and age, but I really feel like Studge will become an Agger-esque player. Not leaving unless we sell him. The way he talks about how BR and the club gave him a second chance when no one else would, how grateful and happy he is, I don't know. It just seems more genuine. I'm sure I'm just love struck, but I think if it's up to him, he stays. Especially because he knows he's the heir apparent with Suarez's inevitable departure.

I think he'll stay too... Unless he has this great desire to play abroad.

I was just curious how much he'd demand on the market...

Did you hear Luis' interview on BT Sports prior to the game?? I think he stays with UCL... without, bye bye and TBH I hope we sell him and he gets to play on the biggest stage...

With UCL. hopefully FSG open up the coffers, because then we would be a lot more attractive and with opportunities for players to come in and play...

Having not spent shite in january, hopefully we are identifying targets and are ready to go...

And right on cue, Cavani comments on Suarez

LINK

quote:

“I speak with Luis most weeks – and he is loving life at Liverpool,” Cavani is quoted by the Daily Mail.

“When I speak with him now it sounds like a different man to that of last season.

“You can hear it in his voice how happy he is compared to last season. He has always loved Liverpool – things have not always gone well for him in England – and he told me how humbled he was by the way the club and the fans stood by him.”

Cavani and Suarez look set to make an exciting partnership for their country at this year’s Word Cup, where they face England, Costa Rica and Italy in the group stage.

Cavani added that he believed Suarez simply wanted to be at a club with a high ambition when the Liverpool forward tried to force his way out of the club last year.

“When he asked to leave people thought there was an ulterior motive like a financial one – but it was not true. All he wanted was to be at a team which matched his ambition, where he could play Champions League Football, and where he can compete for major trophies,” Cavani added.

“Now Liverpool are in that place he is happy to stay.”
