That explanation makes much more sense. Nuri was always a class act and seemed like a good kid. And as usual, its not a stretch to assume the English media are being douches about something.

I can't say I'm either surprised or upset over those comments. It's no secret, even among Liverpool fans, that Rodgers played Sahin out of position. It wasn't always that way, though. He started the season playing holding mid, which he did a serviceable job of doing.
But there was a stretch of matches at the beginning of the season where we flat out weren't scoring goals, and Rodgers literally played everyone he could at AM to see if they worked out. Allen, Gerrard, Henderson, Sahin, Shelvey, hell even Enrique tried playing the position. Eventually he settled on a formation that worked, and Sahin was just surplus at that point. Plus he broke his nose and was out for at least a month.

Exactly ... he wanted to play and we wanted to free up wages so we could get the type of player we needed. Worked out on both ends if you ask me.

No. If you miss a pick-up delivery, just take the note they left on your door and sign the back.

Got mine today.
I ordered the Gerrard jersey in the Liverpool font and got exactly that.
They make a big deal about "making things right" on the packaging, so I would contact them if you haven't already. There is also someone who has initialed that they reviewed your order/packaging, so supposedly someone is checking it. Maybe they don't check too close when it goes on 50% sale?

Yeah it was an odd situation in general surrounding his move there and playing time/position, but whatever everyone seems to be very happy at this point.

Order mine Friday and got the email today myself. Though I missed it today DHL did call me and inform me that they weren't able to make it today but will be out tomorrow and will call when they show up
