Chandler plays as a midfielder from time to time in a three man back line that Frankfurt runs from time to time. Which is funny because I think we would be great with that formation.

Here's a quasi-interesting/meaningless stat, Assuming JAB starts on Friday, it will be his first ever WCQ cap.

I think that is an interesting idea, especially against teams that play only single striker. But, we seem to struggle when new wrinkles are thrown in without much prior testing and game practice. I'm excited for Friday. Hope that we won't be disappointed. There are a number of playmakers having great form. Hope Klinsman gets the set up correct.

His face got all busted today. Nose looked fricked. Terrible timing.

It's a shame we wasted all our friendlies trying out bullshite like playing people in weird positions and wasting minutes on players who won't sniff meaningful games instead of brooding young talent. We only got Kljestan back in the team because a defender got injured and somehow an attacking midfielder seemed like the right replacement. I have to wonder if we missed grooming young guys like Kitchen, Williams, Rosenberry, Gooch, Hyndman, Finley, etc while calling in guys like Beckerman, Wondo, and Zusi.

I still don't understand why we played a 3-5-2 against Chile for one half, looked really solid, and then Jurgen decides, "nah, never again."

I wish we would stop fricking around and call up Lichaj or Villafana so we can play Fab in midfield... you know, where he plays for his champions league team. Fab on the left and Pulisic on the right? Fap.

He's the left back we want, but not the left back we deserve.

not sure why we need 4 keepers, id rather have some additonal depth elsewhere

Training purposes. 2 fields of small sided games. Makes total sense.

Saw a short blurb but it said he went 80+ and looked pretty sharp

And that lineup posted above - drop Bedoya and add Wood and that's my XI

Jones actually looked very good
I think we forget how composed he can be in the MF when he's focused, he was spraying passes everywhere yesterday on the money.

He looked good, but cramped up badly late.

Hopefully that had more to do with the Colorado altitude.

Cleveland weather forecast for Friday at weather.com.

Cloudy and windy. 20% chance of rain. 52 F high and 42 F low.

Doesn't look like a significant advantage or disadvantage for either team.
