Both Morris (hamstring) and Kljestan (nose) will join team to be evaluated further.
Would suck royally if Kljestan can't go.

At least we have several other 10s in our pool to fill his place, like Nagbe and Feilhaber.

ALAN GORDON REPLACES JORDAN MORRIS ON U.S. MNT ROSTER
LA GALAXY FORWARD REPLACES INJURED JORDAN MORRIS
MNT Nov 8, 2016
CHICAGO (Nov 8, 2016) – U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has added Alan Gordon to the training camp roster for USA-Mexico, presented by AT&T. The LA Galaxy forward will arrive in Columbus later today.
He joins the group in replacement of the injured Jordan Morris, who was diagnosed with a hamstring strain suffered during the first half of the FC Dallas-Sounders FC playoff match last Sunday night.
Gordon has made two appearances for the United States. He delivered the assist on the 90th minute game-winner by Eddie Johnson in the MNT’s 2-1 World Cup Qualifying victory at Antigua & Barbuda in October 2012.
The Final Round of World Cup Qualifying, also known as the “Hex”, begins with USA-Mexico, on Nov. 11 in Columbus, Ohio. With fans from all 50 states headed to MAPFRE Stadium, both FS1 and Univision plan extensive coverage around the match, with kickoff set for 7:45 p.m. ET.
Four days later, the U.S. travels to San Jose in search of its first victory on Costa Rican soil. Fans can follow both matches on Twitter @ussoccer, @ussoccer_esp and the U.S. Soccer Facebook Page.

It's not like Morris would have played. He's 4th on the depth chart behind a healthy Bacon.

I love Jozy.
But if we only go one player up top, it has to be Wood. Jozy is getting playing time in the MLS - Wood is in the Bundesliga. And even if Morris had been healthy I would banish him behind even Johannsson.
You gotta go with the players who have been getting time in Europe.
I am ready for Wood up top with Julian and Pulisic behind him. John Brooks and Yedlin pushing forward from the back.

So Brad Guzan over Tim Howard then?
If you think Wood is better than Jozy right now, I'm sorry.

Younger, more upside, getting meaningful playing time
give me Wood

You're saying Wood has more upside than Jozy against Mexico?

Why not both? Jozy at striker and Wood at left wing in a 4-3-3?

Im really starting to believe this is overrated, to a degree, and especially for strikers.
Give me the guy whose banging in goals and coasting on confidence, regardless of league, everytime. Sure, wood is proving himself, but hes clearly a frustrated player right now. Its not like hes getting alot of time in front of goal over there.

So Bradley, Jones and Kljestan shouldn't play?

And you want a centerback pushing forward... fantastic.

I think players having success at their teams and their form is most important. Playing in a harder league weighs that in their favor.
I don't think anyone can successfully argue that Wood is playing better than Jozy. Wood has done ok at times, but Jozy is on fire. What league he is in doesn't really matter when you can easily see how well he's playing.

I think they'll want me more defensive against Mexico. Pack the midfield so we don't get run through.

I feel that if we keep a clean sheet for the first 20, we're winning this. They're going to come out crazed due to Trump.
