How long do you think that Leicester City can hold on?

3 points up right now and here's their next 5:
H against Liverpool
at Manchester City
at Arsenal
H against Norwich
H against West Brom
If they can get through that stretch with 7-8 points, I have no doubt that they at least get a Champions League spot. How does the board see it?

I think they finish third or fourth.

If Mahrez and Vardy keep balling out like they have been, I think they'll be battling for top position all season

The problem with that article: Leicester isn't really overachieving. They don't have the money of a City or a Chelsea, but they do have a sugar daddy. Just imagine if they had a great manager instead of the idiots they've been dealing with.

Depth is usually the undoing of clubs like Leicester. It seems to always catch up to them even if it takes the last few weeks. The next three matches are pivotal but probably even more so are the matches that follow and how they respond from that previous gauntlet.
I'm pulling for them.
I'm pulling for them.

Leicester City, who was bottom of the table a year ago, is not overachieving?

I'm pulling hard for them to finish in the top four, but there is less than a 1 percent chance of them winning the league I'd say.

Top of the league with less than 4 months to go...I would expect the odds to be higher than 1%

To be the best you have to beat the best (or at least draw with them).
I think they can definitely beat Liverpool, can draw MCFC, and are likely to lose to Arsenal (I think the previous two take it out on them). The key is recovering the next two weeks and getting 6 pts.
If they come out of that stretch with 9-10 points then they will be in the top 2 going into March.

Hasn't Vardy been on a dry run the last 8 or so matches? I didn't think he had been scoring. Mahrez is a magician though

I'm still a bit of a novice at this, so bear with me if this is a dumb question...is it much of an advantage for LC not to have to play in the Europa or Champions Leagues? I'm sure that the other clubs have more depth but even so, it would have to tax them, especially if they continue to advance.

Vardy literally scored this weekend.

Yes I would say so. They have 15 possible matches remaining as opposed to 29 of some of the other clubs.

No Europe plus I belive they were beaten in the FA cup by Spurs, so they literally have NO other games to prepare for.
Depth likely won't be problem with so few games.
However, if they lose one of the key guys for a few games, that might be the difference between battling for the top 2 and being in a top 4 battle.

Ok, so we can call that a slumpbuster. I'm almost certain he had a stretch of games where he didn't net any. To be fair, there is much more to the game than just scoring; his pace has undoubtedly led to goals LC would have otherwise never scored.

If they can get ten points from that it will be huge

You're right he went 6 EPL games without scoring.
It started with Everton (they only allow crap players to score) Dec 19 and he just broke the slump by scoring against Stoke Jan 23.
Out of 23 games he hasn't score in 9. So yea, 6 in a row would be a slump for him this season.

I definitely think they're here to stay and will be top four or at worst, just outside.

The key for LC is to avoid injuries to Mahrez, Vardy and Kante. At the same time they have ready made replacements for Vardy and Kante in Okazaki and Inler, not to say that Okazaki is on Vardy's level. Mahrez is the key for them. Vardy stretches the field for them but the creative outlet is Mahrez.
