I have never been able to decide on a specific team... it changes season t season based on the players, in regards to who I liked to see do well..

I mainly just watch for all the talented young players... not so much results.. good matches!

I have too much emotion invested in Liverpool... I couldn't imagine doubling that

I love Dortmund, but they are becoming a real bandwagon team because of Pulisic.

Americans cheering for a team overseas because they have an American is the exact opposite of bandwagon.

wuttttt

but any way thats how lots of clubs grow their fan bases international. Especially clubs getting players from Asia. It gets the fan base bigger with bandwagon fans.

Ok, maybe "not bandwagon" was a poor choice of phrasing, but in terms of Americans picking teams overseas, it's more organic than just randomly picking a team because they win.

Id say just more of getting casual watchers.

I watch most Dortmund games any way but now that our boy is on the team it gives me more a reason to watch.

I mean, it was already a easy sell. Reus + Auba with a fantastic style of play. Already a ton of fun to watch before him.

Yeah bandwagon was maybe the wrong term i used as well. I love Dortmund just because of how they play.

I've liked them since before Pulisic was even a part of their team sheet as well. I just think a fan picking them because of him is more cliche than anything else.

They are a great, fun team to watch though so it's not like watching them or supporting them would ever be a mistake in any way.

And SCH, I know Leipzig is universally hated in Germany and I know you hate them, so I support the frick of those baws.

i'm of german descent and became a fan as a young child when my grandparents brought this little stuffed bear with a BVB jersey on but I kind of lost interest during the mid 2000's culminating with the financial crisis.

like myself, I would imagine a lot of american dortmund fans became rengaged when Klopp showed up. having an american in the squad is just icing on the cake now. 2010-2013 might be the most gratifying time period i've ever had as a sports fan

I enjoy watching RB Leipzig. Let the hate rain down, don't care. The 50+1 rule doesn't bother me and it's hypocritical to pretend other clubs don't have major corporate sponsors.

They're a very young and entertaining team. Their defense is solid and their attack is fast paced and fun to watch.

Here's a good article about them.

frick Leipzig

Big difference in having sponsors like every club does and being owned and used as a marketing tool all while completely giving the fans no say into the club. B/c all your members are Red Bull employees and the local fans can't afford the membership fee b/c its absurdly high.

I get it you guys want to be edgy and like the team Bundesliga fans hate. While just blatantly ignoring how big of an issues their structure is to the German system.
