Would be awesome! Although I do like the idea of the 2026 WC being held here as our 250th independence day would fall during or right after the tournament...

At this point I just want to go to some games on home soil before I'm dead.

That would be cool. Put us in a group with England...

Some good points that I read today. The longer it takes the investigation, the better for US hopes of hosting.

If it is taken from Qatar in the next year, they would just accept bids again from those who bid against Qatar, since they would still be at the normal 7 year milestone they usually award at.

Didn't we come in second for the bid? If so they should just give it to us. I feel like we'd win if we had to bid again anyway.

Houston
One of the Florida cities
Columbus (probably)
KC
Seattle/Portland
Chicago

Those are all options obviously but I don't know how many stadium we would need.

ATL will have a new stadium then.

Seattle and Miami would make sense too.

As someone that has been to the Bristol night race multiple times, this would be incredible. Very unlikely but incredible.

that is the proper way to pronounce it.

Which is why I will ALWAYS pronounce it Qatar, as in "Qatar Hero"
