Anyone get a beta invite? I just randomly got one in my email. I don't remember signing up for anything either.

yep, just downloaded it this afternoon. I wonder what the requirement to get the invite was, the email was pretty vague

Looks like theyve added some transfer negotiation cut scenes. Maybe with some dialogue options?

Yeah, I've really only paid pro clubs the last 4-6 months. I played FIFA almost exclusively for career mode/manager mode, and those are really stale at the moment. Pro clubs is a terrible/infuriating game mode, but I just party up with 3 or 4 friends and we play with 0 expectations. It has actually become my favorite game mode in that regard. You also can score outrageous goals in pro clubs.

I'd kill for buy backs, the ability to send players down to U-23 or B teams to develop (would make for bigger rosters overall) and some sort of tweak to the academy structure.

That and simple stuff like setting realistic goals in career mode that aren't also full of bugs and glitches

The whole goals thing was a good idea in theory. Teams wouldn't act the same when run by the CPU, and different teams had to be played by users in different ways. But the first run was so glitchy, and some goals were impossible.
If they can straighten those out, it should be a better Career Mode in 18. But it would be totally EA to add certain things and completely disregard the easy fixes for other areas, like the goals or transfer logic.

Completely agree. That's one thing FM certainly has over FIFA at the moment.
I also wish there was a feature that allowed you to change your kits or customize them and also add on/build a new stadium. But for that to make any difference they'd have to allow you to go more than 15 years.
