EA just needs to buy Sports Interactive and combine FM and FIFA and just designate career mode to SI.

ETA: 13 was the first and last FM I bought. I think I logged like 36 hours the weekend I bought it.

Just got home, and I'm on the beta. Quick subs thing is interesting. Not really a feature I would ever anticipate needing a ton.

I bought 17 during the $17 sale, haven't played it since July 25 (work has been stupid busy), and I'm still over 100 hours.

Okay, I just played my first game. Am I crazy or did they go from making it WAYYYYYYY too hard to score on 17 to WAYYYYYYYY too easy to score on 18? I scored 4 in my first game on kick off.
Two goals at the near post. One of them was a weak shot. Is near post more OP this game?

I didn't find scoring that hard on 17. I foresee a ton of slidering in my future.

I should clarify. I struggled to score for the first couple months on 17, and then I got used to it. This seems so attacking/passing friendly off that first game. I'm going to play a few more and then hop on pro clubs.

Like the first few days I had it it was a lot harder to score than on 16, but I attribute that to my approach as though I was playing 16. You know how in every year's game there's a play style that works pretty efficiently, it took me awhile to figure it out
I remember having so many draws and 1-0 wins in my first season and I was raging left and right .

Right I like the idea it's just that the execution was awful
For example with Swansea some of my first season goals were to
1) finish in a Euro league position (WTF)
2) make $3M profit off of youth player sales (this actually can't be achieved. I've read online in some forums and nobody can seem to meet this goal. It just doesn't add up your sales of youth players)
3) reduce weekly wage bill by $100k (especially hard in the 1st season when you check the no transfer window in the summer box)

Yeah. I stopped playing FIFA a couple of months ago because I was scoring like four or five goals regularly on Legendary with any career mode team.
Sure, there was the occasional 15-save CPU game that finished in a 0-0 draw, but unless I was completely overmatched, I was hammering the computer.

Okay. The option to do aggregate on kick off matches is really cool.
ETA: Offside calls seem to be a lot quicker on this as well

This would never be something I'd like to see in online play, but in manager mode I wouldn't mind if they made the referees and linesman not 'perfect' on every offsides call.

Just got on Pro Clubs, and it looks way more in depth. The traits you use skill points to level up your pro are in a series it seems. And there are way more of them.
ETA:
Like you don't just buy five star skill moves. You level up your dribbling attributes. Then you have an option to increase to three star skill moves. You level up your ball control and then you can get to four star skill moves, etc. Same sort of deal with weak foot.
