It's definitely harder this year. I usually play pretty conservatively on defense and focus on cutting off passing lanes, but after playing against someone else I've had to completely change how I play. You have to attack on defense more so than in past games imo. Also, defenders feel like they don't "lock on" as much as they have in past games. I think I'm squared up on someone and all of a sudden they slip by me.

Timing tackles is super important now. Days of spamming standing tackle are over since if you whiff, your man will glide past you. Slide tackle is fairly worthless now too.

players are so overpriced on ultimate team right now... my offense right now consist of crossing it in to Llorente and somehow its worked for two goals a game the last three

Ive been real lucky doing the sbcs, have 90k and a nice little mls/serieA team with if Martinez and if Asad. Lots of totw1 going for discard, got a couple Fabianski's waiting for those high potm requirements.
Sold Jordi Alba and Hugo Lloris for 40k and 50k, and got 10k from some discard gold player someone accidentally bought at full bin.
Havent spent a dime on fifa points, usually ive already droped like 50 bucks by now. Prices prob drop a lot come monday.

Ya, im done tossing them my cash. But its easier now since theres so many ways to earn coins and prizes.

After some online pvp grinding for 10 chem, some cracks are def starting to show. Every game is 9-10 goals combined. Pretty ridiculous, fun, but ridiculous.
Could be because everyone has shite teams and once better cbs and gks start appearing itll tighten up a bit, but shots right outside the box are basically gimmes with decent stats.

Ya, EA went alittle overboard by nerfing GK AI and making the CBs impossible to move. One or the other would have prob been enough.

I can't even imagine defending online lol. In my manager mode I'm letting in at least 1-2 goals a game because I suck arse at defending haha.

I haven't seen that option yet. Only new thing I've noticed in transfers is a buy-out.
ETA: lol so PSG have spent big in the first window in my manager mode. They've added Eriksen for 99 mil and Laporte for 70 mil. Antonio Valencia was a random transfer and went to Barca.
