i bought a ps4 and got fifa16 for Xmas so i may be joining in this thread

Do you have trouble selling players? Because I couldn't sell players in FIFA 15. I mean, I could from time to time, but it seemed like no one ever wanted to buy.
To be fair, around 10 of them are youth players getting paid <1k/week.
Only players I get offers for are my best/highest performing or players I transfer list.

Also, I got Crystal Palace to pay me 18 million for Franco Vazquez (26 years old, 79 Ovr) while Inter only got 13.5 million for Mauro Icardi (22 years old, 79 Ovr).

16 is better for it IMO, especially for loans.

One thing I think FIFA got right this year in CM is the transfer budgets of Premier League teams from top to bottom.
You'll see lower-half EPL sides bidding (and overpaying at times) for good players on higher-level foreign teams similar to Cabaye to Palace and Payet to West Ham. Sunderland and even Bournemouth have been aggressive in transfer markets that I've seen so far.

I've noticed Italian clubs are pretty cheap. I couldn't get Roma to bid any higher than $9 million for Cornet (21 yo, 76 ovr)

Definitely. While not all of your loan listed players get offers, it happens with far more frequency. Had 6 players loaned out last season.

I started a career with a player, and in year 2 I'm on loan to Liverpool from Accrington. I just played against ManU and they have made some crazy purchases. I can't remember the names off the top of my head, but they were fricking stacked.

I started with Accrington, turned down a transfer offer from Bayer Leverkusen in January. Asked to be sold in summer after I helped Accrington get promoted to league one. Could have brought them at least $18m. They refused my request. I asked for a loan and they granted it. I turned down Everton and accepted Liverpool's offer. I would like to transfer to Germany for season 3.

My roommate won League 1 with Rennes and was the league POTY. Rennes then loaned him to a League 2 team the next season

Playing through this career mode. It's crazy that if you aren't picked for the starting line up, you can't play at all during the game. You either start or sit the game out.

Because Manager mode has a lot more to go with it, I can see the appeal of player mode as it's a lot more simple.

I absolutely love it. It takes dedication though. The crappiest part is when you play as just your player and get crap service. I always play as a City player and I'm always loaned out the first season...most of the time I got our for two. The championship and League 1 teams are soooooo bad. Even when you are wide the hell open you get shite passes.
I hate to do it because it feels like cheating, but I play as the team quite a bit. It helps a ton with ST and quite a bit when I play CM or LM/RM.
