So where does this leave Oscar if it goes through? Pushed back out wide, sold, sharing time with Cesc to keep both fresh, can one drop deeper in games where we need goals to have both on the field?

It's all speculation, but what I read says he will drop back and replace what Frank was supposed to be last season.

Most on the Chelsea forum think we are signing Fab to play beside Matic. Guess that means no Pogba. I'd rather play Fab higher up sell Oscar and use that money to sign Pogba.

Matic + Fab in those holding roles gives me a chub.

That leaves Ramires getting the short end of the stick more than Oscar.

reeeeeeeeeally don't think you want to play Cesc there. that'd last a match before Jose murdered him.

also, Pogba's agent tweeted today he wasn't going anywhere.

Reading where Mou wants Sandro... that would allow Cesc to play the #10

Please let this be true. Whatever gets Ramires out of the team/sold the quickest.

I wouldn't go that far. Ramires has been a solid player for a few years, but he just goes rogue a couple times a match. His biggest problem to me this past season was indecisiveness in front of goal.

Found myself far too often yelling "JUST SHOOT IT"

I always want this Ramires to show up

He's a midfielder that can't pass. The best thing that people can say for him is that "he plays with energy." That is a fancy way to say that he is good at trying.

So our holding midfielder isn't dropping 20 goals a season? Damn...

I'm not trying to say he's a superstar by any means but idk how many guys work harder or cover more ground in a match than he does

eta: The article you posted even delves briefly into how he is NOT a bad finisher

It's not his finishing that bothers me the most.

Go do some research on him. His match performance score for the season was ranked 244th in the league on Squawka. He was the worst man in the team 9 times according to them.

I don't need to research anything, I know he was bad last year. I guess I'm just not calling for his head yet. He had 3-4 solid seasons prior to last year, and the dude is work horse (which, I only know goes so far. ie Dirk Kuyt).

Should his performance stay the same as it was last season or get worse, then yes, lets offload him. I just like having his legs available

He lacks a lot technically and mentally but there is a place in a team for a player like Ramires in certain games and situations.

I'm excited about the Fab acquisition. This gives us a lot of creative offensive options. Keep Lukaku and let's rolllllllllll.
