Somehow need to get more production from the left wing. Obviously if Sanchez is out there that happens, but who would we put up top? I love Sanchez's work rate up top, and Perez does just that, but I don't know if we will get the goals or link up play.

Theo is working his arse off. He's done great this season with such a high work rate. I don't know what has gotten into him.
THEO IS WORKING OUT THERE GOT DAMN
Coq was amazing before his injury. Hope it's not bad news.
Alexis has played well but he missed passes to Iwobi and Theo earlier that could have been big
Ozil got his swagger back
Costa is still a little bitch
The Ox will make it 4 in the 2nd half, book it

That was one hell of a performance

Xhaka could get a lengthy run coming up. I wonder if Giroud/Perez will get a run up top and move Sanchez out wide. What happens when Ramsey gets healthy?

Beautiful
I wish Wenger would have stepped on their throat and brought on the Ox instead of Gibbs. Would have scored 2 more with the Ox having all that space on the left. Gibbs could do nothing with it.
Other than the fluke through ball to Bats, Chelsea didn't threaten at all. Great performance
Hell it's hard to pick a MOTM. Bellerin, Walcott, Ozil, and Sanchez were all deserving, but I think I would pick Walcott. He came to work today

agreed on walcott MOTM. just a great performance. we play like that and we're a legit threat for the title. and at worst top 2 (because city looks great too).
hope coq isnt out too long.

Agreed, and we actually have the depth for a run this year. Hate to see Coq get injured and he was playing great before he had to leave, but to be able to replace him with a player like Xhaka is such a great feeling.

They were on their way to dropping points before they got bailed out on a bs penalty. They will drop some points in the upcoming weeks

I'm starting to think (cautiously) we may just have something to say about that, too...
You guys looked great today

Got a solid reminder of why the Short Fuse remains one of my least favorite players to get Arsenal news. They basically celebrated Coquelin getting hurt.

I was mostly watching Man City today but it was hard for me to turn from the Liverpool game. You guys are so damn fun to watch, especially Mane

no doubt liverpool looks legit. liverpool, arsenal, and city are the 3 most impressive so far.

Wtf? How can someone not like Coq?

Man so happy about the resurgence of Walcott. Really important for us. Hope he keeps it up.

I haven't read the rest of the replies in this thread, but jesus what a fun game to watch. I haven't enjoyed watching us play that much since the ManU game last year. Utter dominance, over Chelsea of all teams. I've been waiting a solid five years to finally beat Chelsea in the league. What a way to do it. So many solid performances. Ozil and Sanchez were just brilliant, Theo has been excellent on both offense and (gasp) defense, Bellerin continues to have amazing moments, and our CB pairing was pretty dominant over Costa who always gives us fits...
I feel like right now.

That was fun. So much fun.
Thoughts:
- Kudos to Wenger for buying Mustafi. What a difference he makes. Remember how when Per played, Kosc had to chase Costa around all game? Remember how frustrated Gabriel got? Mustafi makes all the difference. Now he and Kosc can alternate dropping deep with Costa. What a partnership they have, already.
- Now we all see why Wenger has persisted with Alexis up top. First, it gets our best 11 on the field. Second, his work rate led to the first goal, and what a finish it was. Third, he is so difficult to defend. Remember how we used to bitch about how predictable we were with Giroud? We are no longer that. The second goal is the perfect example of how tough we can be to defend.
- THEO! Got so much shite last year, and deserved some of it, but he is a new man. Working so hard, getting goals, dangerous all the time.
- Poor Coq. Was having one of his best games before the injury. Hope it's not serious.
- Iwobi is no longer a bright talent. He's an elite premier league winger. I hope he can keep his form. He's like a young Ozil, the way he plays.

Same, if he keeps that same focus and intensity, even on days where his touch is off, he can still be an asset. Dude was an animal defensively today
Only negative I saw other than Coq injury, was the Gibbs sub. I know some will disagree but put Ox in and step on their throats. Was a perfect opportunity to get Ox that confidence. When Chelsea switched to that 3 man back, Gibbs had so much space on the left. Coming off that great finish against Forest, I have no doubt Ox would have buried one home. And who knows, that could have sparked him into us saying the same things in a couple of months about him that we're saying about Walcott today.
