We breathed a sigh of relief that we finished in CL territory again and appreciate the streak, but we sure as frick didn't celebrate. Last season was our opportunity to win the league.

Last night Wenger said "We were a bit short on goal scored. So we try to certainly strengthen a little bit that department. As well, we have just lost Per Mertesacker for a few months. Defensively we need to bring some more experience to our squad. I think in the middle of the park we have enough players"

Apparently we agreed to personal terms with Mahrez and Rainieri convinced him to stay.
If we don't get Lacazette we are in trouble. Sevilla just bought Ben Yedder for 8 or 9 million. Why weren't we in on him? He is at least a proven center forward which we still don't have besides Giroud.

It's not really Wenger, it's him gazidis and Stan. Gazidis 3 years ago said we would be able to compete with the big clubs. Now he says we can't.

So Wenger watched Leicester today and left when Mahrez was subbed out. He did an interview and basically said without saying it that he was there to watch Mahrez, and now Rainieri has made some statements about Mahrez being unsettled by all this speculation.
