Speaking of shite, Rivalry weekend was about to become totally that between LSU and Arsenal.

I'm glad we came on strong to split the point to salvage something out of this weekend for me.

Yeah this weekend was looking pretty depressing. I'm very glad we got a point out of it.

It's a testament to how depleted we are by injuries that when we needed a goal, we put on Flamini, Gibbs, and Arteta.

Glad for Gibbo. He was essentially replaced through injury, and Monreal's played too well to give his job back up. Glad to see Gibbs make a big play in a big match.

Shame we couldn't take advantage of City's draw, but with the performance, I'll take the draw.

Also, Giroud is still Giroud.

Second season in a row we have basically had to face Tottenham with depleted lineups. Its getting annoying.

Ozil up to 10 assists, which would've been third in the EPL for last season. The whole of last season.

On pace to shatter Henry's record 20.

Also first player with assists in 6 straight EPL games.

Legend.

No player has ever gotten to 10 in the first 11 games. World's best at what he does.

I think your point is valid, but, after listening to Arsecast this morning, apparently Santi was really sick. He was vomiting at half time and needed to come off.

But, he just seems like he doesn't care, not willing to give 100% effort and lacks the fire needed to be world class...

Overall I'm not too disappointed in a draw. Wished the break came before this game.

That's good. I didnt realize it was just sickness. Thought he had gotten hurt.

Yea, we're a completely different team from an attacking standpoint when we don't have speed up top (i.e., when Giroud starts).

It doesn't help when Giroud fluffs three point blank headers.

We do have a favorable schedule leading up to the City game

West Brom (a)
Norwich (a)
Sunderland
Aston Villa (a)

With City at home. Their run in to our match is:

Pool @ home
Southhampton @ home
Stoke away
Swansea @ home

They have an advantage of 3 home matches to our 2, but their 4 are tougher before the showdown on a Monday at The Emirates.

Plus our away record in 2015 is pretty absurd

Yep. I have a lot of confidence that we will be on top of the league when we play them.
