i'd be pretty surprised if we were able to land a top class target in January. Muriel just re-upped with Udinese, which means he probably has a new release clause. he could be a target. still think getting a gamechanger in January will be a longshot. the only way i could see that happening is if we have a serious injury issue and are forced to.
that said, we'll have a shite ton to spend in the summer and hopefully some momentum to lure some top targets.

We still need to add another striker I feel, Giroud is bound to get burned out at one point playing full 90's in all these competitions up top by himself.

We need to buy a striker. As much as we all love Niki for his antics, he isn't going to get it done on the pitch. Giroud would still be top choice, his form has been fantastic.
ETA: The chance to play with Ozil has to be a huge factor in attracting attacking talent.

it's just going to be hard to pry away a top target midseason. can't see Villa parting with Benteke then.

Maybe not him. But who wouldn't want to play with Ozil, Santi and Ramsey?

I don't think that part will be a problem. the club side though..

We do need coverage for Giroud. Noclue who it is going to be. We will buy in January.

I honestly think we'd go with theo, poldi, Beowulf, and sanogo other than panic buy. we won't buy anything but top quality.

Random, but do any of you have an Arteta jersey and go to LSU? I caught the glimpse of the back of some dude wearing an Arteta shirt on my way out of the brary last week.

Imma get a Flamini jersey.
Why?
Because of this chant:
He's French, he's free
He'll break your fricking knee
Flamini, Flamini

Some stats from yesterday's win:
Possession: Arsenal 63.4%
Passes completed: Arsenal 598, Napoli 329
Attacking third passes completed: Arsenal 165, Napoli 76
Flamini completed 75 of 78 passes (96%). Plenty of them were forward and diagonal. 24 of 27 on forward passes.
Arteta 71 of 75 (95%). Just 2 of 2 on long passes. Many more square, backward, short passes, but he's so adept at absorbing pressure and releasing to an open man.
Ozil: three created chances. 1 goal, 1 assist. Really received most of his passes on the right. He was almost like the inverted winger Santi often plays, except on the other side.
Ramsey also received a bunch on the right and a bunch on the left. Hardly any in the middle. Shows how versatile he is. Team high four tackles.
