That starting 11 yesterday could win us the league. obviously you could interchange rosicky and carzorla. add the fact you could have poldu, ox, wilshere and theo to come on to give us a late boost.

i really liked the midfield paring. arteta abd flamini play the doubke viot awesomely. flamini has impressed me, brings a maturity to the side. plus his defending was superb.

Giroud is good. just his ability to hold the ball and his little flicks have been great to watch.

we gave napoli no time on the ball, littke tackles here abd there just based on hustke made a huge diff.

That was some great stuff. We are so much more tactically diverse with Ozil. Thank you, Real Madrid.

Thanks for the link.

My fav part in the ZM top 5 because I'm a sucker for style

quote:

His casualness

The cliché insists English football crowds love hard-working, energetic players who chase every ball – but there's also a profound love for slower, thoughtful footballers. "Languid" has become one of the most common adjectives to describe talented attackers – Dimitar Berbatov is celebrated because he plays as if he doesn't give a toss.

Özil is another – he glides across the pitch as if disinterested from the game, yet always positions himself superbly. His opener on Tuesday night was essentially a powerful, swerving drive from the edge of the box, yet Özil barely broke stride to meet Ramsey's pass, and arrowed the ball into the corner with a subtle sidefoot rather than a proper swipe. His celebration was understated too – the German has that knack of making the sublime look entirely easy.

I still can't believe this is the same season as the week 1 loss to Villa. That just seems like years ago.

It really does seem so long ago. That day just sucked.

that was such a freak match. i'll go ahead and pat myself on the back for saying it was an aberration...

as fun as this has been so far, we'll really know what kind of team we are by Nov. 10th. our sked from now until then:

@WBA
Norwich
BVB
@Crystal Palace
Chelsea - COC
'Pool
@BVB
@ManU

dream scenario - advance v. Chelsea, get 4 pts from those BVB matches (securing a spot in the knockout rounds), don't slip up against WBA or CP, and 4 pts from 'Pool and ManU fixtures.

That is a ridiculous stretch of 4 consectuive matches. We will see what we are made of, that is for sure.

Yeah. Flying to Dortmund midweek and then Old Trafford on the weekend...that's tough. luckily we should have everyone back by then and can rotate a bit.

Feels good to have players, who can be rotated. Risk of players getting injured with a long stretch of games will be low.

Glass, I was at Finn's that morning too when all the ManU, Chelsea, and Liverpool fans were all ganging up making fun of Arsenal ... who's laughing now

it would take some ghastly results for them to fire him at the beginning of November.

It's interesting how they will handle him since Fergie is the one who chose him ... if they can him its basically calling Fergie's decision a failure. (IMO)
