Exactly. If something is not perfect, it is flawed in some way, big or small.

But being flawed =/= being useless, as shown by UEFA coefficients.

Regardless of whose they are they are obviously tremendously flawed.

But that's not the point.

The point was that some of these other guys said Germany was going to pass England in UCL standings.

You acted like that was nonsense, hence my post with the coefficients.

We can argue whether they are right or wrong in our eyes, but they're still the clear sign Germany is on the verge of passing England in the eyes of UEFA and the future of UCL spots.

It's not going to take "a few more seasons"...they've already done it in three of the last five. Period. We can argue opinion, but we can't argue the facts in this case.

Well it's actually 2 out of the last 5 and they tied one year.

My argument really isn't about coefficients because they are so terrible. Even still, I'd be shocked if England didn't outperform Germany in the UCL next year. I don't give a rip about Europa.

That's a transfer saga that I expect to last a while. Juve gonna try and get all the big hitters and a bidding war.

Likely. It was smart for PSG to agree to a fee early and see if anyone challenges the number; I'm sure they allowed themselves some wiggle room once someone ups the stakes.

Gut feeling is PSG ends up with Pogba, but will leave themselves screwed on squad depth again next season.

I agree but the thing is they can rest guys plenty in the league and still win it and be able go balls out for the CL. It's a huge advantage they have over teams in stronger leagues. Squad depth isn't nearly as important.

You say that, but it hasn't been the case this season. L1 has been a grind and, if not for Marseille's collapse, would still be a 3-horse race.

I wish PSG had concentrated on some youth players in the Cups, because the fixture congestion over the last month or two has been incredible. Squad depth is still an issue for them if they want to advance further in the CL.

Not to mention that Paris are everyone's cup final.

Just curious DS, since you're my only ally here, why are you a PSG fan?

Lived there for a semester in 2010 and well, they were the only team to choose from.

Haha good man. That was a bleak period, but they won the Coupe de France.

That 2010 Coupe de France squad was one of my favorite PSG teams.
