Thats bc the Bundesliga did a shite job marketing itself around the world

As has L1.

I would never try to say that it's in the same class as the big 4, but it's a solid, fun league.

L1 is still missing those giant teams people around the world want to watch.

The Bundesliga seems to have finally woken up and said lets fricking promote these teams.

In terms of overall entertainment, Bundesliga is the most entertaining, but my goodness they really shite the bed in promoting the league.

That's at least partially marketing.

If Paris can win a CL that would be 1. Lyon, Marseille and Monaco all have potential. Maybe not stratosphere potential but good enough to appeal at least somewhat to casuals if promoted well and developed to the point where they have some consistent success. Nobody sees them but Lyon is s really good team and are fun to watch.

Any midfield with a tandem of Verrati and Pogba is going to be pretty amazing. They will need to figure out if they can work as a pair or if they need a third, but if they keep Cabaye, a Verrati-Pogba-Cabaye midfield is going to be one of the best in the world.

I would think, in a MF three, Verrati sitting deepest with Matuidi and Pogba doing the running/shielding him... Rabiot and Cabaye would be excellent in rotation..

Definitely some versatility too, in how you could position those three (or five)

Verratti loves dribbling out of danger, which is why having him as the deepest player is slightly concerning.

They need to do better for sure.

I am really looking forward to see what Fox does with the Bundisliga next season.

some of y'all act like Ligue 1 is MLS level. The ignorance is astounding.

I meant, it is absolutely NO factor in a player´s decision to move from Serie A.

Back in the day Fox Sports World used to show some French league. But that was way back in the day.

Maybe, although Motta has declined a bit. You would move Luiz up to CDM I think so it would be Pastor-Ibra/Cavani-Lucas up front with Verratti-Pogba-Luiz in the middle and Aurier-Silva-Marqhinos-Maxwell at the back

That's pretty much how I see the lineup if Motta goes, which I think is very possible.

He has found some form in the second half of the season, but there were rumors about him being shopped back in January. He looked woefully off pace to start the season.

Part of this is due to circumstance. As TV deals got bigger, the traditionally successful clubs like Marseille, Monaco and Saint-Etienne were down, PSG sucked for the most part and Lyon was dominating the league.

Not only did Lyon win 7 straight titles, but L1 averaged the fewest goals per game for several years amongst the big European leagues (if I can find Uli Hesse's article, I'll link it.)

The league didn't market itself well because it wasn't very marketable. The official websites of PSG and Monaco were still French only until maybe 5 years ago.

A Bundesliga team knocked out Chelsea and Arsenal?

Oh, nevermind you are talking about Ligue 1. Yea, you're right it's better than the Premiere League.

You probably think the Big 10 is better than the SEC based on bowl games too.

Who the hell said that?

I will say this though: PSG are better than Chelsea. We proved it on the field and were by far the better team in both legs.

Yea man so much better. I mean we couldn't even compete. You guys won by like 5 or 6 aggregate right?

You probably think Man U dominated us a couple of weeks ago too?
