I don't care what they chant or sing. They're having fun at a fricking game that 20 year ago no one -- except a select few -- gave a flying frick about.

I'm with you here. They show the crowds in Europe on tv, too. There are a lot of losers in those shots, too. The pirate looking guy for Arsenal comes to mind. Also, when I think of English fans, I think of fat, pasty, shirtless guys doing the wanker motion. It's not like they got a bunch of Brad Pitts leading the chants.

This is the dumbest thread ever. Its like when they start those threads about who's team has bandwagon fans or not.

Who cares? People are having fun. People actually care. That's all that matters.

Sorry man, the face bandanas are freaking cheesy. And the crowds tend to be uber dorks. Again, I'm saying that in my experience.

But I'm also a soccer snob

So basically you're saying AO sucks because the people aren't 'cool' enough for you. Got it. Good to know.

We should go back to the time before the dorks took over, when the stands were either empty or full of people from the opposing country

I like the support for the team, creation of an energetic environment, and people having fun. If I had to change something, I'd personally prefer that there was enough variety that the same chants wouldn't be used repeatedly within some time frame of each other.

Huh? I don't see the bandwagon fan analogy at all. This thread is about the chants.

I said its like the bandwagon threads. It always devolves into who's team has more fake fans. Which is silly. Everyone enjoys what they watch and who they pull for. No one fan is better than the other.

The same thing applies here. Doesn't matter what they're screaming as long as they're having fun and they care. That's all I'm concerned about.

Except the wave. I fricking hate the wave.

Meh, just unclench and wait.... USMNT games having that type of atmosphere is ridiculously young. I think in even only 10 years time we'll be a lot more polished, original and probably have so many new chants, player specific songs and stuff this will be "hey remember when we had like 4 chants and I Believe was the best."

How does one submit a chant to be included in the AOs official chants?

I've got a good rendition of "party in the usa"
