I think the best feeling as a keeper has to be saving a penalty kick.

Never played anything more than rec, but my favorite moment, was diving and taking out a kids legs when he tried to round me. I gave up a PK and prob should have gotten a red, but it was fun.

First year of playing organized soccer I was eight years old. Let the first shot of the season in for a goal. The next nine games zero. We won the championship. My skill level was appreciated by the next coach and played center-mid the rest of mt career.

I loved corner kicks. It's downright impossible for a keeper to get a foul called on him on a corner. And Lord, I tried.

I remember my old gloves had Jorge Campos signature on them somewhere (fake of course). Personally, I was more fond of a one on one situation watching someone and waiting for them to make that one wrong touch for me to charge and take them out, was great fun.

I loved corners also. However,I most enjoyed it when a player thought he had me beat either to the left or right,but I was able to dive and turn it around the post.

God i haaaaaaaaaaaated playing Goalie. Its boring as shite and I preferred to be doing the scoring. Which is odd because in the other sports i played, football and baseball, i preferred defense.

Besides a PK stop, I think coming out strong and taking a ball off a strikers feet before he can shoot is the best feeling.

I liked everything about being a keeper except picking the ball out of the net.
