Yeah, but Brad Davis has a great left foot.

Yeah, he should've done well in the beep test.

And he celebrated after with two baconators, large fires and a milkshake, amirite?

And I have made a concerted effort to watch MLS every week this season. LA and Seattle are on a lot so I've seen LD play and he has been playing well. Constantly influencing the game as he does. Conversely, and mind you it was only one game, I caught a Dynamo game a few weeks ago and Davis was there? Pretty invisible, oh except for when he took the world's worst PK.

It really is a shame that LD is retiring. He's still a top 5 player in the USMNT pool.

When we get an actual reason for him being left off the world cup roster

I'm sure he was just saying that to be nice, amirite?

LD right now > Deuce right now.

Yeah, I said it.

I would be very hard pressed to take many outfield players above Landon in our pool. Bradley, Fabian, and maybe Jones would be about it.

As for what happened with the decision, there are two possibilities. It was tactical or it was personal. If it was tactical, then Jurgen should be banned from ever coaching from again because it was so patently obvious that Donovan should have been on the squad. If it was personal, then Jurgen is a massive count who is willing to put himself above the team's chances, which is the last thing you want from a coach.

This should have happened the second Wondo took the pitch.

I like to believe no one is that tactically stupid. However, Jurgen did start Brad Davis against Germany in a very important game.

I don't think we do any better, or worse, with Donovan at the WC, results wise. Maybe we make the quarters. We don't beat Argentina there though.

He should've been on the roster, but Jurgen wanted to make sure he didn't set a precedent for players not giving their all.

Then Tim Howard said frick THAT shite.

Oh well. Life goes on. LD is a legend.
