Well I bought an Ensign-mobile after my first deployment (just a regular 3-series but pretty tricked out). Spent about $38500 on it after taxes and USAA gave me the 25 and over insurance rate for being an officer (I think the premium was about $480 every six months, which wasn't bad for something rated as a sports car) Still driving it almost 10 years later.

I came in driving a 1995 Integra. Drove that until 2007, then treated myself to a 2002 Trailblazer.
I've made up for it several times since, though.

His buddy is just a big ole' bear and was their driver while my brother sat gunner. They're kinda gay, but not like really gay.

I almost broke down and went with a lease, but I talked myself out of it in the end. Thing is my baby still drives fine. Still have my various inspection stickers on the windshield from Germany, the EU, and Bahrain. So, it's sentimental. Even when I get something new I'll still be wasting money on it.
