It really is sad that he was the Republican candidate.

If he wins, at least we won't have to worry about either one of our senators being on any kind of presidential ticket. ABL, but damn. When Republicans win in Louisiana, it's DESPITE the State GOP and the candidates we trot out there.

Bitch has been in the senate since I was a senior in high school. It's way past time for her to go.

Which I'd rather have that a career politician who has never done anything more than suck off the public trough.

Fair enough.

IMO all three candidates were pretty lackluster. Removing Mary from office was pretty much a lock 2 years ago.

Mary has now lost the promised committee chairmanship. Mary will be slaughtered in the runoff.

Exactly, her ONE point of contention with Louisiana moderates was that she had the back of the Energy sector with that seat.

No more of those ad's for the next month.

I would not be surprised if she drops out and takes a million dollar job on K street. It's about time she moves out of her parent's basement.

What does this even mean? He will win, not a real question. He may not be polished, but he is as others said a good candidate who does what the majority of his district and his State wants; unlike what we have now.

He will get pushed around in Washington. Other than the (D) by her name, what has she done to negatively affect each of your lives? Also, how many of you work with, for or just know people in the oil / energy field? How about the mental health field?

It's a sizeable portion of my work. What does that have to do with anything?

As opposed to a group of people who keep voting for the same people over and over again, as their incarceration and unemployment rates rise.

She rubberstamped the ACA. My monthly health insurance bill increases from $432 a month to $1055 a month for the same coverage in approx 60 days. Does that count?

That has more to do with your provider seeing an opportunity and jumping all over it. Mine didn't go up at all for a family of 4.

Him doing zero would still be better than what Mary was doing. Don't you dumbasses get it. Its about stopping the bleeding.

Well you weren't part of the Democratic "target" group of self-employed entrepreneurs obviously. Congratulations on paying for "protection" and avoiding Landrieu's middle class wrecking ball. But make no mistake, it will get you eventually.

Anyhow, She's gone. Deal with it.

My dad was self employed with 4 kids and made ~$100k. His high deductible family plan that he chose was deemed by Obamacare to not be sufficient. Premiums went from $370/mo to $1725/mo.

He had to bring his clients into a firm to get onto a group policy as he couldn't absorb the $16,000 increase. Basically killing any opportunity he had at growing his small business.

frick Mary.

(not that I buy your false premise, but...let's pretend it's true for a second) That "opportunity" came as a direct result of Mary's bought-and-paid-for vote.
