yeah - I can't be the only geek on here that read comics as a kid & sometimes likes reading them still
this site is one of the better ones to read comics free - they have damn near everything (superman & batman from the 30's up to walking dead today)

Alot of things were lost along the way. Marvel got the brilliant idea that to attract new readers they would kick their current readers to the side who just so happened to be ones keeping the company solvent. So not only they gave this Islamic writer a mouthpiece they even changed characters such as making coloussus and ice man gay, Thor is now a woman, iron man is a black female teenager, wolverine is dead, bruce banner is dead so an asian kid can be the hulk, ms marvel is a teenage pakistani mulsim and then they wonder why sales is down.
Ironically the movies they bank on are all established characters many of whom wouldn't be a part of the current marvel universe.
