No way. Trump has set the standard for what it takes to defeat the democrat pandering, lying, socialist, identity politics machine. Come out swinging, attack at every chance, no compromise. Anything less will be steamrolled by the leftists and the entitlement moochers.

The democrat party had perfected their playbook for defeating standard republican candidates. Trump made that playbook obsolete. They still have that playbook ready to roll if they get the chance again.

Nah,

Since the left sees Trump as Hitler, they would only see Pence as Himmler.

It’s hilarious to me how easily Trumps accomplishments are forgotten . The guy did more in 4 years for our country then any President before him. All while fighting the democrats and media .

This frustrates me more than anything. Think of the constant attacks on him by the Dems yet he has accomplished more that any other president has in my lifetime. He gets no fricking credit.

Soft, bitch arse republicans like Pence more.

The reality is; Pence would have been devoured by this ruthless democrat smear machine... just like the last 2 republican nominees before Trump.

Pence would have gotten the entire conservative vote, the huge majority of independents, and the dim voters who would switch because of laptop gate.

I have to work with people from both parties for my job. I’ve heard more than a few times from people within the party that many republicans feel like they have a Trump problem. He wins this election he can prove them all wrong, even if it’s a razor thin victory.

This.

There is no other candidate who could have weathered all of this as well as Trump has.

No one is suggesting he "sit this one out". But the fact remains that Trump may very be the most hated president in American history. Pence would have certainly demonstrated much more empathy, and he sure as hell wouldn't have let Joe Biden turn a fricking mask into a political weapon. The hard reality is that Trump often can't get out of his own fricking way. He should have had this election sewn up by now.

There is no sewn up when the refs are dirty and refuse to cover blatant and dangerous corruption and pedophillia and incest.

See their hate for ACB. They hate everyone not on their side. They’d destroyed Pence.

bullshite.
Pence has neither the personal baggage nor the propensity to get himself into bad situations.
He would have taken the accomplishment of the last 4 years, and dismissed the blunders as not really his.
He'd be cruising by now.

Lol no.

You can't logically assume Pence would have entered this cycle with the same record of achievement that Trump has. It doesn't work that way. Pence has never been provocative or bucked the party and he has the personality of Balsa wood. Trump made his bones governing in a way Pence would never dare; snubbing his nose at detractors, courting black voters, and being willing to compromise with dems.

Look. Turn off cable news and relax. We have to listen to this TX, FL, GA tripe every cycle. People who voted Trump in 16 have every reason to be happy with their choice, and the need voter numbers have been historically good for republicans. Trump is going to win this election.

Pretty sure Trump's a phenomenon that can't be duplicated, and for every example of the negative that you cite, there is the aforementioned phenomenon that makes up for the negative, in spades.

Pence would never have come close to accomplishing this agenda. This isn't really even worth debating.

bullshite again!
Firstly, Pence wouldn't even need the laptop debacle to win, then show me how ACB was damaged in ANY way by her confirmation hearing...probably the opposite!

Pence would have folded like every other candidate the Republicans have put up pre-Trump.

When this all started before 2016, he was not as direct or as strong in his responses as he is now.

He changed in response to how Trump acted over the previous 4 years.

Had Trump not been there, he would have withered under the media’s screaming like so many other Republicans do.

He also wouldn’t have beaten Hillary.

I think Booker would have a better chance at beating Trump than Biden. The year of BLM and someone who could stay up with Trumps energy. The Dems threw out one of the most fricked up candidates in American history.

Because people are dumbasses. Libs hated Trump on election night in 2016 because he wasn't Hillary. There is no substance in their vitriol, it is all based on political parties. These same people are burning down cities because a rapist with a knife was shot by police. There has never been a group of people dumber than American liberals.

I understand that a great many people are voting against trump.

We will have to wait and see what comes from the election.

Pence would not have the people willing to crawl over broken glass to vote for him like trump does.
