you must have meant revenue...no way they are making 200 million profit, ever. i'm honestly surprised they are making 200 million in revenue

The sources I’ve read projected a 180 MM to 200 MM in revenue in the 2023 season, but I don’t know the final number. Bloomberg I don’t know the break even point but profit sharing kicks in at 20 percent year to year increases and there would probably have needed another 30 MM in 2023 revenue before that happens

I don’t know of an immediate Clark impact. I presume the media money is locked and the only potential increase short term is arse revenue

It’s also a long CBA so they are likely stuck with these rates for awhile

RANDOM THOUGHT

Why are women's volleyball players always cuter (on the average) than women's basketball or softball players?

Sure, there are exceptions, like the St.Claire girl from Mississippi State, but even she cannot be mentioned seriously in the same sentence as a Gabrielle Reece.

It’s a relative thing.

Sydney Sweeney can pull $100k/month selling HER panties online. Amy Schumer? Not so much.

My brother in Christ, she's a phenomenal player, but she plays against women. She's smaller, weaker, and slower than most male high school players.

I gave her the benefit of drawing a shite ton of fouls because refs would be trying to keep her from being killed.

I am not a huge basketball fan. What is the "G League?"

I don't want to belittle her, but I don't see her earning a starting spot on the men's squad at even any major college, even.

Developmental league for the NBA.

Every NBA team has their own developmental team and there are a few teams comprised of blue chip players who aren’t in college but haven’t been draft eligible yet.

It's a league that even their 2nd string guard would pick Caitlin up at half court and shut her down.

The WNBA is projected to bring in a 200 million profit this year

How?

They only did 60 million in revenue last year. That is not profit.

As per WSN, the WNBA generated around $60 million in revenues in 2023

Or are they projected to bring in 200 million in revenue?

There are male athletes supporting their dumb logic too. It’s such a simple concept (the WNBA makes chump change in revenue compared to the NBA) that these people are either too stupid to understand or intentionally ignoring

What “error of their ways” created the WNBA pay scale? You seem to be grasping at straws. So some people say they’re surprised at the difference
between the league salaries. BFD

Catlin Clark as phenomenal as she is in Women's BB probably wouldn't make a starting 5 roster in the G league. Might not make the bench on many teams.

Forget about NBA...

She is great for a female....she wouldn't make a division 3 college roster except as a token walkon.
