Why would Kamala Harris get less votes than Biden?

Just curious. I’ve seen this stated. I don’t think anyone out there is voting for Biden. They’re voting Dem down ticket because they always do or they’re voting against Trump.
If anything, Kamala would potentially get more minority voters and women voters for the “historic” possibility.

She did not have the support of the Dem Political machine. She is not charasmatic as Obama but evidently they are willing to groom her.

Biden is electable as President, she isn’t. So Dems said “sit tight.” Forced her onto Biden’s ticket as VP, knowing Biden won’t last. Voila, they have their far right President, who wasn’t actually elected President.
