The implication they may have colluded with Russia is troubling, but we've seen very little to back that up. With so much breaking, I'm sitting back and waiting to see how this plays out.

Our country would be better off if Kristol was publicly hanged.

Nothing
But it's clear that there are ties to Russia in some form
I think, most reasonable people, just want to know the extent/details of said ties

1) the russian government was hacking the DNC and leaking info to hurt hillary during the campaign,
2) trump's campaign maintained contact with russians while the russians were interfering in an american election, which is a pretty big deal and would call for any politican to end contact with the interfering government,
3) upon winning the election, trump's NSA advisor discussed (most likely easing) the new sanctions related to the interference and lied about discussing the sanctions, and
4) trump and his surrogates continuously denied during the election and afterwards that there was any contact between the trump campaign and russians at any point. leaks are claiming that is a lie.
historically, this will look super shitty even if there is nothing rising to an impeachable offense

For starters, Trump and his minions denied it when they knew it was happening, and secondly, there are very real concerns about whether or not the Trump people colluded with the Russians' interference in the American election. The fact that the Russians did interfere in the election is beyond dispute, according to five intelligence agencies. The big question is to what extent the Trump campaign colluded with them. The only way the American public will know for sure is if there is an independent investigation in the matter. It would stand to reason that the American public has a right to know answers to this question. The early signs though point to a Republican cover-up of the matter, so they will probably behave as the rank hypocrites that they are. They didn't have a problem spending more time investigating Hillary Clinton than Congress did investigating 9/11, Pearl Harbor or Watergate, so why can't they do their damn job and get to the bottom of Trump's ties to Russia in a way that the public can fully understand them? Hell, they won't even make that lying, Russian dick-sucking Trump release his tax returns.

Tell me your explanation of why they needed to collude with some Russians as a campaign?

Not in America's best interest saying hold up, let's see if we can work things out and not go to war?

Bannon got two pro-putin presidents elected in Ukraine.
When payoff details surfaced during gop primary, bannon was dropped from lead role managing trump campaign.
Now bannon is on national security A team.
Yes, its ominous.

This is the breakout that matters. But all of these are allegations, which the previous administration acted upon fruitlessly as evidenced by the lack of recourse to anyone in the Trump camp. All we've had are anonymous leakers, grandstanding, politics of emotion and blatant lies from a media PROVEN (via Hillary's emails) to be in bed with the opposition to Trump whitehouse.
I can't hang my hat on that. I'm surprised so many can.
Also, Kingbob, after reading the Logan Act would you say this is a violation? I don't think it is. Interested in your take, genuinely.
