You do realize that Animal Farm was written not as a critique of leftist politics, but from the POV of a Trotsky Communist?

I know and I get a laugh when conservatives bring out Animal Farm or 1984 as some sort of anti-left tome.

Orwell was a socialist all the way.

Your second paragraph illustrated exactly what I said in my post you said was wrong.

Fueled by the Dems. The root cause is the Dem operation. Go one step past the surface. I know you're smart enough... maybe.

Another one.

What, pray tell, is the premise of Animal Farm if it is not (gasp) about socialism/collectivism/statism?

Reince Priebus is in charge.

This should tell you all you need to know about the RNC.

Reince Priebus' counterpart is Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

Are you implying that DWS is the reason for Obama's 2012 win or the fact that the Dems retained the Senate in 2012?

Let's see what the situation is on the morning of November 5th. If his party holds the House (which it will) and can eke out a majority in the Senate (a possibility), than Priebus being in charge is not the problem.

2016 might be the first of many elections where I will vote 3rd party. I'm pretty much Rand Paul or 3rd party as it currently stands.

The current GOP is nothing but a doormat at this point. Say what you want about the Democratic party, but at least they don't eat their own like the GOP does EVERY SINGLE ELECTION.

*crickets*

Yup, still waiting for that epiphany. Sure I will get a detailed discussion about how Animal Farm was not about socialism/collectivism/statism. Draconian Sanctions, you can provide your brilliance as well. This should be good.
