Because we have republican voters more likely to be petty their guy didn't make it out the primary and vote Democrat just out of spite. Then those same Republicans complain about things in the state not getting better.

South Louisiana will pretty much always dominate statewide politics.

Excepting for that one ole boy from north central Louisiana whose political legacy casts an extremely Long and dominant shadow.

Do you see it? What I did there??

This didn’t happen. LA folks got conned into voting for someone who “was like Trump.” It’ll happen again this year too when Louisiana votes for Jeff Landry for governor, because he’s like Trump.

Ralph should have been the LA GOP nominee for governor in 2019 though.

Yep. So long as Louisiana is shackled to peopl that campaign off of how well they like Trump well never elect anybody worth a sh!t.

his big moment in the sun was awful. got to rebutt a national speech by obama and came across as fearful and low energy.

It still is a dumb idea.

Ain’t nobody gonna take a train to go between two cities that you can drive faster between once you account for the stops along the train route. Then the train dumps you on Loyola Ave. a good walking distance to the dome or you can take advantage of a stinky RTA bus or streetcar. By the time you add train fare, bus fare, and the extra time needed to get there to make your connections. It is cheaper to drive there yourself.

Parking and security of your car is another issue and a different argument depending on who is running the city.
