Why did Obama force health insurance on citizens in the first place?

Because it's a very large step towards socialism, that's exactly why. There should be no government mandate of health insurance in America, ever.

That precedent has been set by Obama and there's really no way to correct that complete disaster, that fricking idiot was allowed to ruin the American health care system instead of fixing it.

This is simply the way it should be. You can afford health insurance and you pay for it, or you cannot afford health insurance and you're on welfare. It's very simple. What's the fricking problem?

So you're telling me that expanding Medicaid to help those people would not have been a better idea?

Yeah, I'm not too concerned with the single mother of eight off of Gardere that keeps having kids from multiple baby-daddies so she can receive larger welfare checks. That's on them. The government, nor the United States citizens, are responsible for someone's own mistakes at life that led them to being poor and unsuccessful. Who's triggered?

By having a larger pool of people paying into the system he believed that that would in-turn allow insurance companies to lower premiums due to the sheer volume of cash in the system overall. He failed because he didn't take into consideration how greedy insurers are.

He had nothing to do with it besides his puppet strings being pulled. The plan was written many years ago

Just sit tight. Obamacare is 100% on the Democrats. They own it. In time, it will implode under its own weight. At some point, it will simply become prohibitively expensive and people will have to make the choice between insurance and food. And the Democrats are saying the Trump plan would leave millions without insurance?? Just hang in there. When Obamacare goes off the cliff, it will be one for the ages. Then what, oh genius Democrats? Then what?? Hmmmm??

And then people will say the House and Senate and Presidency were filled with republicans who said they would repeal and replace it and they shite the bed!

Because HC costs were going through the roof in 2008.

I realize some of you were in grammar school then, but c'mon man. You act as if Obama pulled this out of his arse. Both he and McCain had HC plans. HC has been fricked up for a long time.

Because liberals are nothing but power hungry insurance salesmen. They want to insure health, housing, food, fricking, education, retirement, and absolutely everything else they can possibly dupe the American public into giving up control of.

The only way to bring healthcare costs down, are to bring young and healthy people into the risk pool. The Mandate exists to bring these kinds of people into the risk pool. The Republicans are failing, and failing huge, because the Mandate is the only thing that exists that could possibly bring costs down.

For many reasons, Healthcare is not a free market item. In his core Theory, Even Adam Smith admitted that things like this would exist. Just like National Defense, law enforcement, and many other necessities, we will all pay less money and get much better care the day Healthcare is completely socialized in this country.

Isn't it obvious to you that the powers that be have decided that we are going to go with single payer, universal type healthcare? Every step is in that direction.

Obamacare could have been overturned at the SCOTUS by the Rep. Roberts.....but miraculously he turned.

Obamacare could have been repealed by the Rep. controlled House, Senate and Executive......but inexplicably No....nothing happens.

Can you read the tea leaves?

Not even remotely true. Bringing healthy people into the pool does nothing to bring down health care costs.

People are so confused about this issue. I have no idea why though.
