I didn't turn this into a discussion about crime, oppression of african americans is kinda a self inflicted wound my friend. Nobody frowns upon hard working indian americans who are dark in nature. The issue with african americans is a whole helluva lot of them are making a bad name for the group. That issue isn't happening in the chinese or indian cultures. So yes the crime is a major reason who society has the views it has on black people in general.

stagg you said the reason the minorities you see thrive here is bc we got the cream of the crop over here and the undesirables are left in their nation. Why is it those undesirables in india do not murder and rob people at the rate of african americans in the united states? I posted the factual data about 2 murders and robberies per 100,000 people and I asked you to find me similar data on african americans in the US. From there we can discuss why the undesirable indians in india do not commit crime at the same pace that african americans do.

Jesus man, well let me ask you then Stagg in general would you call african american society in the united states a success? If so would you say that as a whole african american society is in general as successful as other minorities like chinese,indian,lebanese,etc just thinking of some successful minority subsets.

I wouldn't go so far as to call any ethnic group, en masse, in the US a success... partially because I grew up in a massively empoverished, primarily White parish in Louisiana.

It is bc you, like african american society, refuses to face and fix the real issue at the root of the problem. Here is why african americans are oppressed: its because society in general has a bad perception of them. What causes it? Years of brainwashing us from violent crime to the violent music in hip hop to the ridiculous outfits you see people wearing at malls with their underwear showing. Oppression doesnt happen to other minority groups bc as a society we dont have those perceptions of those people. Im a business owner, I know these things and its insane to see the skew of issues I face with african american customers vs the rest of the group. It's almost comical the entitlement african americans think the deserve. Do you know how many times I hear "its bc im black" when dealing with customers or an employee i've fired?
