ETA- completely forgot about FDR. He should be either right before or right after LBJ. Should probably add Lincoln somewhere in there too. He was the first major departure from the Founders ideals of federalism. Typical Illinois tyrant.
Teddy gets honorable mention but I cringe to put him on the list of the worst because, National Parks. Two wrongs may not make a right but one right can cure a lot of wrongs.

Carter was horrible but almost everything bad he did was rectified pretty quickly.
LBJ did things that were absolutely horrible and have had horrible effects on this country for generations.

Nothing has been more of an albatross on the neck than Lincoln and the civil war.

Lincoln also began the trend of Presidents issuing Executive Orders that were in fact illegal orders. Lncoln himself knew he didnt have the authority to issue the Emancipation Proclamation, but he did it anyway. His stance was "let the courts stop me if they can"
Ironic that the President who freed the blacks began the trend of abusing Presidential power and the first black President perfected it.

Carter. It’s funny how libs in retrospect think he is great when he screwed little people the most. If you were a regular joe trying to buy your first house, well good luck with those sky high interest rates. However, if you were wealthy with investments, you were making money hand over fist because of the sky high interest rates.
