Well yes...yes you can

Not at all. I can not take Bro Salmon to court and demand that I get access to his emails nor to his Social media.

I would lose that case. Agreed?

It's open to the public. But subject to a user agreement. Twitter as a company still has complete autonomy over their platform. There is no freedom of speech there. You're an idiot if you can't grasp this.

Trump is driving major web traffic to Twitter in a time when it most needs it. I seriously doubt they ever cancel his account.

Sure I do moron.

quote:

I'm on a school board. I have a FaceBook. I NEVER post anything in relation to my position on the school board on my FaceBook, not ever. Therefor NO ONE has a right to post on my Facebook.

And I stated the same thing. Next....

quote:

On the other hand, if I was using my Facebook to post about the school board, converse with folks about issues, etc etc THEN my Facebook would in effect be government account and THAT would be where the first amendment would come into play.

That would be the apparent ruling before appeal. Still, you have not stated one thing that I not not already said.

However, That very well could be challenged. The first does not allow me access to the phone conversations between a gov official and his wife on his personal cell phone account. BUT, there is no need in going there, it's not the topic.

So far, we are on the same page. Not sure what your issue is.

quote:

And even at that Facebook could still come in and ban people from my page who were breaking THEIR rules becuase the first amendment does not and can not protect you from being banned by a private company.

But you can sue. It's been done. It's being done now by the American Freedom Law Center and more!

quote:

You don't understand that the first amendment ONLY protects you from actions taken by a government agency or actor. You could NEVER sue , for example, Twitter ,for violating your first amendment rights.

Yet.... here we are and it's being done.

As a user, you agree to the user agreement. Twitter can censor you all they want to.

Thats true, but why are they such whiny little liberal crybabies about it? Have the intellectual courage to say "We're deleting your account because we don't like people who have different points of view. They scare us because they make too much sense"..or something along those lines.

When will you and your communist loving friends start asking the gov to lock us up? 2 years?

They already have, in the case of the "global warming" zealots.
