You're an idiot. Twitter loves Trump because of how popular he is on it.

Trump tweets and 5 minutes later it has 15k replies and 30k likes & retweets. Trump is the best thing for their business.

You have nothing. Twitter is a private company if they just came out with a statement that said "different rules apply to the POTUS, we don't care what he posts he's not getting banned" you know what your recourse would be? NOTHING.

If Twitter didn't address it at all and just allowed Trump to violate every rule they have and didn't respond to any complaints. You know recourse you would have? NOTHING

In short, no one gives a shite about you wanting Trump banned from Twitter, no one cares about your reasons or your context

In conclusion, you're a fascist who wants to use YOUR standards to decide who can post what on other people's property. Good day sir.

Yep, I believe a case could be made that he MUST let citizens post on his twitter feed.

Not without proving first admen rights. I'm sorry you do not see it.

You have no right to view my page because I do NOT want to have a conversation with you. In order for a lawsuit like this to win, you have to establish that what Trump is using is a tool for free speech!

There is no other way.

Then we can apply that to every media outlet that is reporting leaks?

How does one establish a standard for censorship using this metric, unless he's making threats that anybody would he censored for.

In addition, if he wants something communicated, good or bad, he will make sure it happens, Twitter or not.

Twitter can't turn a profit, but you think they should delete the POTUS' account and royally piss off every Trump voter that still actually uses Twitter? Who besides Trump has done more to keep Twitter relevant in the news?

Plus Trump is a billionaire who could invest in a social media startup to compete with Twitter and he'd get millions of people to sign up to follow what DJT says.

I mean you literally have no idea what you are talking about

In this case cited the judge ruled that an elected officials social media page was in effect public if the elected official used it to post in their capacity as an elected official, and Trump clearly does, ergo any citizen has a right to read and respond to his posts.

Ahh the left... Always for suppressing free speech.

The British would have loved for you to serve the crown.

Not soon enough. Someone needs to have an "Twittervention" with Trump. His Tweets make us all look bad.

You worry about what other people think don't you?

I agree that he is good for Twitter, but this doesn't make sense after establishing twitter can't make a profit. If twitter can't so it, then wouldn't make sense to invest in something similar.

If he was banned, he could just post his thoughts on the Whitehouse website, or just a blog like Joe Schmo.

Yeah. You don't understand that case at all.

I understand it 100%.

The suit is about a person blocked by a chairwoman on FB. It was the chairwoman's personal page. The Judge ruled against the chairwoman saying that it's a form of free speech suppression by the chairwoman because she blocked a person who expressed her views that did not align with the chairwoman.

What you are not grasping is that the judge could NOT rule that way without establishing that social media is a form of FREE SPEECH. Literally he cited the 1st.

You can not have a one way street with it.

Trump is the lynch pin that keeps Twitter afloat.

No one would be using twitter today if Trump hadn't resurrected it from the dead.

Twitter Execs know this.

You don't understand anything fool.

Listen.

I'm on a school board. I have a FaceBook. I NEVER post anything in relation to my position on the school board on my FaceBook, not ever. Therefor NO ONE has a right to post on my Facebook.

On the other hand, if I was using my Facebook to post about the school board, converse with folks about issues, etc etc THEN my Facebook would in effect be government account and THAT would be where the first amendment would come into play.

And even at that Facebook could still come in and ban people from my page who were breaking THEIR rules becuase the first amendment does not and can not protect you from being banned by a private company.

See , you're stupid. You don't understand that the first amendment ONLY protects you from actions taken by a government agency or actor. You could NEVER sue , for example, Twitter ,for violating your first amendment rights.
