We have been selling jobs over seas and the only people who have been benefiting from it are the super rich and Chinese. Meanwhile the Chinese devalue their currency and block are goods coming in. Its a globalist game, Get your head out of your arse.

No ones forcing anything
Trump believes import/export taxes should be a 2 way street. Giving away our manufacturing jobs to foreign nations because democratic leaders are too soft to get a fair deal....those days are done

Maybe Google Ronald Reagan and protectionism.
And then maybe wait to see what actually happens in the next four years.
Then maybe rethink your post.

I just don't see these policies somehow increasing jobs in an industry whose jobs marginalized by many things other than outsourcing:

Setting conditions is one thing.
I am uncomfortable with the meddling with a single, particular company.

Reagan largely threatened, but didn't act. Want to bet 10 bucks this is what will happen with trump?

Wait.....so you are saying....If we place a tariff on chinese goods someone will begin producing those goods here in america at the same price as the chinese goods?
If we can produce at the same price.....why do we need a tariff?

Pass through cuts will bring jobs. So long as the rust belt gets helped, and this remains to be seen, doesn't matter how it happens.
Campaign platitudes? We needed to win. He did what no recent Republican had the balls to do. Win.
No one is debating the result if we get it. Message board posters, who have mostly been wrong to date, are debating campaign strategy and promises.

He didn't mention America. You did. Could be Australia. He is correct. The market will adapt.

It ain't common knowledge. Look at yourself as an example. You're arguing as if tariffs could actually be widespread.
