So, what human rights abuses in America was Costas talking about? The little dude with the bad Botox injection needs to explain himself.
I'm sure he wasn't referring to conservatives being harassed by Obama's IRS.

Around 7:30pm EST. It made "Project Runway" look like Duck Dynasty. Near the segment's end, Weir fawned over one colorful girly ensemble and asked if it looked "Too Butch",
 that is awesome and I love that it's trolling Putin after he's had the worst month of his presidency. how can anybody have a problem with this?
Johnny Weir flame-ing it up on national TV is what makes America great and what makes Russia suck.

Well, hes on NBC. I think that is their norm.
Yep, the Weather Channel is now an arm of the Progressive Machine as well as their Sports Team.

The olympics played wall-to-wall from 10am to 1am.
That segment must have been on NBC Sports or one of the other networks, because NBC had local programming and news mixed in with Olympics coverage during the day, and I know for a fact that yesterday's primetime Olympic coverage started at 7:00 CST because my TV was on that channel when it started.

Trolled?
Are under the impression that segment aired in Russia?
Are you under the impression Putin ever saw it?

We celebrate the freedom for folks to do their own thing, even if an odd thing. The delving into details of the oddity though is more akin to onlookers gawking following a fatal collision.

Elliot Spitzer was phobic about leaving his socks on during the act of boffing callgirls. It's fine for him to be on TV doing his thing, celebrating who he is, but I don't need a 30min tour of his sock drawer anymore than I need a guided tour of Hillary Clinton's pants suit collection. Certainly not amidst a sportscast.

NBC is busting Putin's balls because Putin has owned Obama on the world stage. That, plus they're pushing the gay rights agenda to the max.
Standard libtard modus operandi.

I do not watch any sporting event that Costa covers for the fact that he is another liberal who thinks he knows what best for us average Americans. I suggest any of you who don't agree with costa to stop watching.

That belongs on the Bravo Network.

Costas is good when he's talking sports and doing play-by-play which he does 99% of the time. Why would you cut off your nose to spite your face? Hell, I wouldn't quit watching college football or track & field even if Rush Limbaugh was hired to be an analyst.

Thats a stretch.
I think I would find a radio broadcast and mute the TV.
Wish some Cossacks would have lashed Costas though. Or anyone else who wants to engage in that discussion on Russian soil WHO IS NOT RUSSIAN. They are a few years/decades behind us on a lot of things and gays appear to be one of those things. Call them out for it. But to assume you are going to make them "see the light" and have Ellen do a month of shows from Moscow this summer is a bit naive.
Let RUSSIAN gays fight their battles for themselves. American gays did.

On the issue of gay rights, they're only a few years behind us. Let's not forget that both Obama and Hillary opposed gay marriage during the 2008 Presidential campaign, Bill Clinton signed the DOMA into law and Elena Kagan had to reassure Obama that she was straight before he appointed her to the SCOTUS a few years ago. Now all of them have "evolved" on the issue of gay rights and they've become more Catholic than the Pope. If I'm going to allow someone to lecture me on a moral issue, it's not going to be someone who found religion yesterday.

He's one of the better sports reporters and commentators in the business. His career pretty much establishes that fact irrefutably. He just pisses you off because you don't like the fact that he occasionally voices an opinion with which you disagree.
And you Sir are in full denial that it is not the forum for a sports announcer to be making political commentary.

Would Botox Boy be the front man for NBC Sports if he praised the NRA?
How about if he voiced his opposition to same sex marriage?
Of course not.
For once, why can't you liberals just be honest?

Okay, let me first say that Costas is a legit piece in the sports reporting world. He'll likely be inducted into several broadcasting hall of fames. He's not Al Michaels in terms of quality or iconic sports moments, but he's up there.
That being said, sports have long been used as a platform to make a statement. I don't so much have a problem with that.
Here's what I do:
#1 Where did this come from? All of the sudden, Bob Costas feels the need to have a political monologue during Football Night in America? I can't help but think this is another push by NBC to spout liberalism to its veiwers. And given the format, there is no way to have any kind of counterpoint to Costas views.
#2 is a growing problem with liberal American media. It's like the female reporter that asked the black British guy about being an African American. Do you think Russia gives a damn about the social views of the Anerican media? This isn't genocide. This isn't some great atrocity. It's a social issue which a good portion of our own country doesn't support. Attacking the IOC president was a low blow and is an issue that nobody outside of America cares about.
You want to pander to American audiences? Fine, do your little outfit interview with the skater. But don't do it with international people with pull that could affect American athletes and even possibly future opportunities at hosting games.
