It will definitely be a lot more. Probably all the fence sitters who wanted to but haven't yet will do so.

I hope as many do it as possible. I hope every player makes Black Power salutes after every big play.

Let America see these people for who they really are.

If players kneel en masse, then the ratings will plummet instantaneously. You may have fans walk out in droves. All on live TV.

Ratings will go down. Walks outs will not happen, at least not in any noticeable way.

People who spend lots of money on tickets and parking to go to a game are not just going to leave it at kickoff.

These people may not go back to a game but very few people are just going to leave a game they've already paid a lot of money and time to attend.

I hope it's a lot.

Then I hope a lot turn the TV off

I would like to see a coverage map when that happens. Like instantly half of America turns the game off

I think the odds of me not watching the NFL tomorrow will be at 100%.

NFL is dead to me - has been for a couple of seasons - ain't missing it one bit.

Trump didn't say they couldn't do it. He is saying that if he was a team owner, and their employer, and they pull this stupid shite on company time against company policy, that he would fire their arse.

He publicly insults a war hero who has done more in the service of this country than he ever will, and he publicly insults a gold star family who have sacrificed more for this country than he ever will, but he thinks football players should be fired for kneeling during the national anthem? What a fricking tool.

Please explain how (R) McCain is a war hero.

He's failed at representing any and every facet of life he was ever involved to represent.

He joined the military and crashed his plane, was captured then treated with special privilege, thats a fail

I won't even mention the mysterious 1967 USS Forrestal fire that his father covered up. But feel feel free to get info from the Clinton's Polifact page for rebuttal.

He's been an (R) his entire career but as nothing but losses as an (R), he's a (D) doing what he can to stall healthcare for WORKING Americans that are in dire need of a replacement to the growing costs of this current failed healthcare.

What are his accomplishments for the people he has ever represented?

I don't really care. Just because I don't agree with the fact some players kneel during the national anthem doesn't mean they shouldn't have the right to do so.

I know there are consequences that can come with free speech. A company can fire an employee because they take a certain political stance, etc, but if a company allows it then anyone within that organization has a right to exercise it. I enjoy watching the game so I am not going to let a small percentage of people, who I might not agree with, dictate what I will or will not do.

And I think people should be concerned that the president of the US thinks an organization, that allows free speech, should penalize people for expressing free speech.

Most people here will disagree with me, but I don't just support free speech when it is convenient.

I'd pray that Dak Prescott & Ezekial Elliot ,with their valuable contracts, would kneel to see Jerry Jones squirm like the snake he is.

Won't happen, especially with Dak.

Jerry took a chance on him and threw him out there and he's where he is because of Jerry Jones. Zeke, I'd say is a bit of a wild card, but I feel like he's not going to try and piss off the hand that feeds anymore than he already has.

Former Cowboy WR Jesse Holley said on the radio a few weeks ago that it was known throughout the team how seriously Jones took the anthem 5-6 years ago. He said they would literally practice how the team would enter the field and stand. It's apparently common knowledge that if you don't take it seriously, Jerry will tear your contract up.

If Dez or Zeke kneel you think hes cutting them?

At least be educated on the subject.

free speech

If it ever becomes a free speech issue I will have to reexamine my position on the matter. As of today it is not a free speech issue.

NFL is just not that big a part of my life to give these clowns a moment of my Sunday afternoon.
