Yep. Short term it was far better off. Long term they should be able to govern themselves by now. Maybe the Chinese will do better than we did at fostering them into the modern world.

The more under-educated the populace is the more you need authoritarian rule. At some point the populace is ready to cast that aside. Africa, for the most part, never reached that point

Having traveled extensively all over West Africa I can tell you that all the infrastructure remaining was engineered and built by the English and French. I'm talking roads, bridges, train lines, ports, etc..

I do think eventually what happened in Rhodesia will happen here. Will be a combination of American blacks and Illegal Immigrants that will seize various assets like farms, land, heavy machinery, and likely bank accounts as well. There’s too many Illegal Immigrants coming here and they aren’t going to play nice as their numbers grow that I can assure you. Can’t blame anyone when this happens either we did this to ourselves. This country in 20 years will be unrecognizable.

Rhodesia wasn't really sustainable as a nation state. Yes whites civilized the place and built the infrastructure and a prosperous economy but they represented less than 5% of the population.
But yes I do agree. The Great Replacement is underway. Biden sold us out for his 30 pieces of silver.

I realized it after I typed it.
I've heard DeSoto, TX is at least decent. It's 70% black. I've never been there myself though.
