So if you have, say a hip replacement, 1 to 2 pills every 4 to 6 hours will run you through 30 in just a few days. They can still only write for 30 (or is it a 30 day supply)?

It says "30 day supply."

So, for example, if the directions for the prescription call for taking a tablet every 6 hours, that would mean the person is limited to 4 pills/day. That means a 30 day supply would be 120 tablets.

nope. I'm flying to Europe for work next month and he prescribed me some Ambien for the first time and it seems like that's a similar setup b/c that was also on pharmacy paper and I had to drop that off in person as well.

Viagra seems "normal" though I can just phone that in.

If it wasn't for the whole "don't take if you are also taking nitrates for chest pain" thing it would be OTC. As it should be

Viagra has been life changing - I've never considered myself anything beyond "average" in bed even though I'm above average height and similarly equipped. I never felt like I stood out.

Viagra has probably improved my dating life by 150% because now for the first time (I'm 33) I'm getting girls who want eagerly want to stay in my sphere as much for sex as for other things (my rugged good lucks, sharp wit, etc.) I've never gotten so many "hey what are you up to" texts at 12AM on a random weeknight as I have in the past few months.

Jesus Christ. I'm 53 and I've never needed Viagra.

He never said anything about needing it.

He did mention being tall, and "similarly equipped".

Men with above average endowment have a harder time maintaining a "full" erection.

I probably don't "need" Viagra in the strictest sense, but when I started taking adderall it messed with my erections (and I never had 100% great erections to begin with once I hit 30 - even when I started abstaining from porn).

Viagra not only gets me to 100% but it literally makes sex fun and it makes me confident. From what I've read on manosphere blogs there's a subculture of young guys who use it almost in the same way that athletes use steroids or other PED's. It gives you a marked improvement in your performance - your desire, stamina, confidence, etc.

I've used it a few times when I wanted to be able to not have to take a break after busting a nut.

I also hate condoms, and like to have it if I am going to be using them.

Basically.... I like it for when I am fricking hookers.

And then he gets addicted and goes into a long rehab that he can't afford so the cost is passed on to us. Then he gets despondent and in a drug induced state, slits the throat of one of the orderlies. A long expensive trial ensues, the cost going to the tax payer. This is followed up by a long jail sentence also paid for by the taxpayer. But of course what he puts in his body doesn't affect anyone else. ( hypothetical of course)

Depends, is he paying cash for to fund the diagnoses, follow-ups and treatments of his fake medical issues, or is insurance paying for them? Defrauding the medical system hurts us all...

So then I take it you are in favor of banning alcohol, cigarettes, etc???

I knew one of you people would come with that argument, but I chose not to address it in my original post.

yeah, a "cool" doc can enjoy losing his license when the DEA show up with guns asking to see his documentation of prescriptions for the last 2 years.

You sound like a miserable person.

Maybe I use adderall wisely and am still at the same exact dosage as I was 2 years ago when it was first prescribed (20mg per day) whilst coaxing the most out of the benefits it offers me to stand out from my peers and be recognized for lucrative promotions (all true).

Maybe I use Viagra about once a week and only for 1st or 2nd bangs with a new girl or when I really sense that I want to pull out all the stops as needed to help build and maintain rotation of 3-5 girls that I can hang with as I like (all true).

Not everybody who uses cigarettes/alcohol/street/prescription drugs is incapable of handling their business. Vorsprung dutch Technik - progress through technology, my friend.

I've been in rehab and paid out pocket. Don't assume everyone passes the buck on this.

More regulations will just increase the underground drug trade, and cost you more money via taxation to fight crime and imprison people. The local heroin dealer and pill pusher than you for your support
