The guy is truly an idiot. He has read the word "hacked" so many times he now believes the DNC's computers were hacked. They weren't. No malicious malware was installed, no code was changed. Podesta stupidly opened up all of the DNC's emails and text messages he either sent, received or was copied on when he fell for one of the oldest phishing scams out there. He clicked on a link sent to him via a fraudulent email emulating Gmail's security department and when he logged onto his account following instructions from the fraudulent email, he willingly gave his email password to the scammer. But let's ignore the content of those incriminating emails and messages and just keep lying about how they were obtained.

Yeah, so I work in cyber security. I got my CISSP last year, so anything you have to say about hacking is irrelevant to me unless you share some of your expertise.

A CISSP must be easily obtained if you don't know the difference between someone falling victim to a phishing scam and having a computer "hacked."

You don't impress me at all.

Also, the DNC and podesta issues are separate. The DNC was hacked via APT level hacking methods.

Podesta was phished.

So a corn-pone, hard right, evangelical Republican, who served in the US Army during the Cold War is part of a plot to collude with Russian Intelligence? Seems legit.

Once again, your ignorance of this entire issue is on display for all to see.

Podesta was phished. DNC was hacked.

Do you have a plan in place to cope when this turns out to be a witch hunt? I worry about you chasing all these ghosts.

" From April 14 through Nov. 11, Sessions had 30 meetings with ambassadors, including four with the ambassador for Great Britain. The day before then-Sen. Sessions met with Kislyak on Sept. 8, he took a meeting with Ukraine Ambassador Valeriy Chaly. Though it’s unclear what was discussed, the back-to-back meetings occurred a week before Russia accepted a unilateral ceasefire plan in Ukraine on behalf of the separatist rebels it backs there."

There isn't any smoke. Meeting with ambassadors is part of his job. Dem's are going on a phishing expedition and they will lose again on this. It's obvious he was meeting with the Ukraine and Russian ambassadors out the ceasefire plan in the Ukraine and I am 100% sure it will come out as just that.
Dem's you lost the election and if you keep going with the stupid witch hunts you are going to lose big in 2018.

Yep, i'll take 16 intelligence agencies and POTUS's word that Russia did the hacking thing.

No, they are not.

All of Podesta's emails were downloaded once the scammer gained access to his account when he gave them his password. As Hillary's campaign chairman it meant that many of his stolen emails were about the campaign and communications with and between the DNC members.

As your link says, that is disputed to point that it's not a given it even happened. And if the DNC's server was hacked, it's not clear who did it.

Of course, we all know Hillary's private unsecured server was hacked multiple times by multiple hackers. But let's just ignore her stupidity....

You're 0 for 6.

No, wait....0 for 7.

Yet ignore those who say it wasn't the Russians. There is no proof. It's just fodder for low information types.

He said last night he doesn't remember what they talked about.

Maybe he will "remember" something different today at the press conference.

What, in your own words, is the difference between emails of some members of the DNC and "The election"?

The DNC servers were hacked.

Esquire

But the kompromat campaign of the past year appears to be aimed at much bigger game: the American electoral system. According to Reuters, the FBI first contacted the DNC in the fall of 2015, obliquely warning the Democrats to examine their network. It wasn't until May, however, that the DNC asked for help from a cybersecurity company called CrowdStrike, which had experience identifying digital espionage operations by nation-states. CrowdStrike immediately discovered two sophisticated groups of spies that were stealing documents from the Democrats by the thousands.

quote:

CrowdStrike was soon able to reconstruct the hacks and identify the hackers. One of the groups, known to the firm as Cozy Bear, had been rummaging around the DNC since the previous summer.

Not sure what you're asking here... Russia hacked the DNC, period.
