honestly, I think he has valid reasons to speaking to the russian ambassador. Why didn't he disclose it?
that to me, smells bad.
If it was completely innocent a quick investigation done by an independent person will quickly clear him.

Except McCaskill has a twitter stating in 2013 that she was going to a meeting with the Russian Ambassador....so apparently Senators on the Armed Services Committee do meet with Ambassadors.
